I don't understand the need to involve Miami... Horford and Teague are way more valuable than Dragic and Whiteside! In fact, I'd rather just have Horford than Dragic and Whiteside.

Imagine this scenario... Dwight and Jones for Horford and Korver. Then hire Thibs, and sign Noah in the offseason. I've always hated Noah, but the idea of teaming him up with his old teammate and his old coach sounds pretty good.

    Beverley
    Harden
    Ariza/Korver
    Horford
    Noah/Capela

KJ? Who's KJ? Surely not anybody on the Rockets, no? Haven't seen any KJ around here lately...

What's the end-game building a team like this? This team gets murdered by the Warriors, Spurs, & Thunder.

Now that would be a hell of a deal. Almost no chance it happens, but that'd be awesome.

Same here, literally, Horford with 18 cap hold > Dragic at 16 + the rental of Whiteside -> which can be a goner

My brother follows Miami so I watch 90%+ of their games. This is not a good trade.

    Dragic:

    - If you thought Harden was too indecisive with the ball sometimes, you haven't seen anything yet. Dragic is particularly fond of driving into the key, out the other side and then passing the ball with about five seconds left. In the process he drags the entire structure of the offense out. At least when Harden ISO's he's trying to do something.

    - If you think Harden's defense was bad, you haven't seen anything yet. Dragic does not fight through ANY screens at all. He does not stay in front of anyone. He is an absolute turnstile on defense.

    - You guys (including me) have been complaining about Lawson's pathetic inability to put the ball in the hoop. He passes off open shots or just flat out refuses them. Well guess what? Dragic is just as bad, he does not shoot. One time during a time out Wade was heard yelling at Dragic saying "shoot the f!cking ball". He is timid, and is gun shy.

    - And then, when he does shoot, he doesn't make anywhere near enough looks. He's shooting just 32% from three on about three attempts a game. I'm sorry, but that's just awful. And the excuse of spacing doesn't work either, because Wade does an incredible job of penetrating and breaking down the defense and finding Dragic. Guess what? Clank, clank and... Clank.

    - The only reason his overall fg % is solid is because he is a very crafty finisher at the rim.

    - He averages just 5 assists a game, which considering his teammates and usage, is abysmal. He is not a good decision maker in the pick and roll. He picks up his dribble way too much. He has no right hand at all.

It's quite sad that some of you want him back. Factor in that he's 30 and he's just signed the contract he has, it would be a disgusting trade if Morey did it. Absolutely disgusting. He brings nothing to the table at all. Keep in mind that Wade's usage is much lower than Harden's this season too. So if Dragic sucks this much playing next to Wade it's been pretty safe to assume he will be even worse (im not sure how that's possible) here.

And that's before I have even discussed Whiteside.

And for some reason he resigned here. But at least he's getting paid to have good seats.

To be a championship team you must prepare like a champion. Until this team learns how to play championship defense all these trade ideas will not push us over the top. We first need a coach that will get this team to focus like a champion. That's where the organization should start.

I'm glad you aren't the GM.

The only guy worth looking at from Miami is Gerald Green.

The best scenario imo would be trade for Horford, than trade Brewer, Jones and Lawson, so you basically free 30 milions and maybe you also bring in a couple of decent/good AND CHEAP bench players like Galloway and McLemore, than, in summer you try to sign KD and a good defensive center like maybe Ezeli and than you resign Horford.

    Ezeli
    Horford
    Durant
    Harden
    Beverley

    Capela
    D.Mo
    Ariza
    McLemore
    Galloway

And you'll still have Harrell, Dekker, KJ (if you don't dump him as a sweetener).

Honestly i don't know the math of all this, i did it quickly, but if it's ok with the salary, i think this would be the ideal scenario for us.

I haven't watched the Heat in years, so I am not sure how well Dragic is doing there, but I know here he was everything opposite from what you just wrote. Could it be that its just not a good fit? or did he really stagnate that much

I think its a combination of both. Not a good fit and he's stalled. Do not want.

This is BS haha. We should also be trying to get McLemore. He could be decent here.

It's sounding like the hangup maybe Miami not willing to include Winslow.

    Houston: Dragic and Whiteside
    Miami: Teague and Horford
    Atlanta: Howard and Winslow

Ha, I'm sure Bosh will love going from Miami to Sacramento.
