Yeah I have no doubt that a team like Brooklyn would sign him immediately

 

I'm curious also because overall the numbers say we are a little better per 100 with dwight on the court but in the 11 games he's missed were 7-4 and with him playing were 20-24.

I personally think the sample size has been to big and him and harden were never a great fit. In fact I don't know if dwight is a good fit with any team other than the clips, sac and maybe the Wizards.

We won a lot of games with him away from the team last year and the sample is much smaller this year but we our, record wise playing better without him once again.

I just think harden needs players like DMO and smith to an extent more so that dwight.

On the surface you would think dwight is a perfect fit with harden elite pick n roll finisher and defensive anchor but it just hasn't worked out.

I like dwight and I hate getting rid of a polarizing figure like him. (I like stars) but I don't know how much he really effects winning anymore. The NBA is so differnt then it was before his stint with the Lakers. He's a dinosaur in today's NBA with a bad back and knees and on the wrong side of 30 with a lot of miles on his body.

Next year is going to be his 13th in the league, I just think from a long term standpoint he's not and shouldnt be in the rockets future. Even if he wanted to sign here for 15 mil a year I would have reservations about him. He's not elite at anything but rebounding and his defenes has really declined the last two years.

 

People saying trades for offensive players.............offence isn't our problem

 

The way Harden plays right now, I personally can't see him playing alone side another superstar. With that said, I hope we do land another superstar very soon and Harden can be adjust his game to someone else having the ball in their hands.

 

Haven't read the whole thread but what teams would actually be in the market for Howard? It would seem to be a pretty limited market.

I understand the Rockets are making Harden the face of the franchise...but the way he is playing right now...can he play along side another player?

Harden has played with other offensive superstars and has been very successful. We don't have any help for Harden I'm not sure why you seem to think he is a bad teammate when his teammate's suck, lol. If Harden played just like last year he would still be doing it by himself he would just be doing it better. So your answer isn't to get him help your answer is to chastise him for not being Michael Jordan, lol.

Dwight is very overrated defensively. He goes for every block which leads his man open to get a offensive rebound, he refuses to step out to guard a shooter, and he has no idea what good rebounding position is. More often than not he gets beat on the boards by centers who know positioning.

 

Carmelo baby lets turn this into a circus

 

seems like that's something only a few notice. Especially when guys are criticizing how this teams needs "more help" offensively when that isn't even the #1 problem
