    No need to be an idiot. Even if you think that we were lucky to get by the Clips, it's asinine to think that we were a 1st round exit team. We were easily MUCH better than our first round opponent. We were a 2nd round exit team at the worst.

    Translation. They are losing hope that any deal will be done. GM's are on to Morey. They will offer a PB&J with a bag of stale chips for anyone on our team not named Harden. So they throw this out to save face.

    Not to mention that 2 of our starters were not in the playoffs and Tjones was regressing right before our eyes. Maybe we overachieved due to the injuries but the talent and depth as a whole when healthy is why the high expectations were there this year. You are way off base if you though we would be less than a 4 seed before the season started. It's a shame how this season has played out so far.
