    Where'd you hear that?

Would very much like Knight in the back court next to Harden.

If we had him I think we would just have to embrace the flat out run and gun style again and just simply try to outscore teams since our defense would be deplorable.... whiiiiich is really a plus to now because it's already deplorable.

Knight is not a poor defender.

They are not only willing to trade Knight. They want Knight gone. Problem is N-O-B-O-D-Y wants Knight. And that includes us. We do not want him.

Didn't watch him this season, has he regressed that much or what is the reason for no team wanting him?

Really? Do you have any insight into why nobody wants him?

From what I saw of Phoenix early in the year when they had Bledsoe (was watching their game for fantasy reasons) I didn't think Knight was bad at all - in fact thought he was pretty good.

Once Bledsoe went down Knight's play kind of took a nose dive so I'm guessing he can't be the focal point of a team - but that's not something teams turn a blind eye on a player for.

I could think of so many more players who I wouldn't want before I got to Knight's name.

Oh I wasn't implying with that comment that it is Knight being bad. That comment was assuming Dwight was gone and Beverley obviously wouldn't be in the line up.

You hear they're aggressively shopping him, as if they'll "settle" on a deal.

Then you hear they're asking for TWO first round picks AND a player.

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Rockets?src=hash">#Rockets</a> have to be bluffing. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/NBA?src=hash">#NBA</a> TV reports they want 2 1st rd. picks AND a player for Dwight? When's the red tag sale?</p>&mdash; Greg Bailey (@GregBailey13) <a href="https://twitter.com/GregBailey13/status/700178587945672705">February 18, 2016</a></blockquote>

We'll see how desperate they are to move him today.

Jefferson and Hawes might be the only iffer where it wouldn't make sense to move him. Get Hawes out of the deal, add in one of Zeller/Kaminsky, add a salary filler, and make it happen.

Point guard market is very tricky. Because there is so much talent at that spot. Knight comes in as just another mediocre talent at pg. And really undersized and not nearly a good enough shooter/scorer at SG.

    1. He's on the first year of a 5-year deal. That hurts his trade value. Most teams are looking to unload salaries and the ones that aren't have a PG they like better. There's just not very many teams looking to upgrade the PG spot and the ones that are want a better player than him if they're gonna be stuck with a long-term deal.

    1. His A/TO ratio is below 2.
    2. He's basically plays a James Harden style game without looking for contact but looking for scoring opportunities.
    3. He doesn't get to the FT line enough. (See 2.)
    4. He's not a great shooter. Very pedestrian from the floor.
    5. He turns the ball over a ton and doesn't offset those turnovers with nearly enough steals and offensive fouls drawn on the defensive end. This is the same problem Harden has. And it's why Morey surrounds Harden with guys like Ariza/Bev/Brewer. Because those players do create a lot of defensive turnovers that more than offset the turnovers they make and they help offset Harden's turnovers.

Having Knight in the backcourt with Harden is a double-dose of all the bad things in Harden's game without even half the good things in Harden's game. It would flat-out be disastrous to pair him with Harden.

    FIFY

Precisely. And so could 29 other teams.

Jesus that's what he's worth?? Wow. I feel Dwight is gonna be in for a rude awakening when the off season starts. I'm trying not to be bitter but...**** man. We made the WCF last season and you're already jumping ship because we won't pay you the mega-max? I get that athletes need to make what they can while they can... buy no team is going to be able to contend for a ring paying him $30 million. There's no way.

It's early. Teams get desperate the last 2-3 hours. Jordan must not know who Morey is. Lol.
