Sources: Houston has started contacting teams about trading Dwight Howard

I think there's a lot of waiting out teams right now, so I'm not surprised more hasn't gone down. A lot f of these rumored teams don't really have to make trades.

Well I'd prefer something major, but I would settle for something minor. I just worry if they wait till the last minute, the deal we get might not be a good one, or worse yet, no deal at all.

This Rockets team needs a shake up, if Morey can't deliver on that shake up, the rest of the season is going to suck.

LOL no, not even close. Stein is a Mavs homer and as such, he's completely unreliable when things involve the Rockets or Mavs.....unless he's reporting about trades that have already happened, then he's just slightly unreliable.

Booker for Lawson works financially. If the Rockets add in a 2nd I think that's pretty fair value at this point.

And that would be an absolute steal for them. Lawson in the right system is an allstar pg

 

Ty Lawson for Trey Burke (2.6 mill) and Trevor Booker (4.7 mill expiring) work.

 

Utah could trade just Burke and Booker to us for Lawson. Or just Booker. Or Burke and Ingles. They just need to add ~$2.1 million in addition to Burke to make the trade work or ~$4.7 million in total outgoing salary. So it really wouldn't be hard to make a trade work since Utah is almost $8 million below the salary cap.

 

We could even throw in Jones to make them feel better.
