Sources: Expect the NBA back playing by mid/late June with 10 reg season games before POs

of course it’s different . However , sports may yet provide tremendous entertainment value. The level of play in the nba is tbd , but I’m optimistic based so far on what I’ve seen in scrimmages .

baseball is in an entirely different situation .

but as far as basketball goes , even without fans in the arena ... it can still be a community watching experience . Undoubtedly there are zoom parties , more than anything it’s fodder for discussion .

but who know , by late August or September people may be watching games together at bars in limited capacity or in outdoor screening areas ( or at each other’s houses )

some people have always liked watching games alone .

but the fans not being in the stands doesn’t bug me that much . The true test is gonna be the level of play , and unfortunately the level of officiating (injuries and virus concerns are also there)

 

NBA giving back, not just business as usual.
