    Now I understand why NOLA fans hate EG so much. Imagine putting in zero effort, tanking your trade value in a year where you were all but guaranteed to get moved if you just played to your ability, and then going back to the organization and asking for a buyout. Oh, and that's after you publicly blasted the team. Granted, you weren't wrong in what you said, but so much for being some kind of veteran presence in that locker room. And you do all this while being Eric ****ing Gordon.....not LeBron, not Kawhi, not even James Harden. ERIC GORDON.

    Oh, and **** you too, Raffy. The jury is still out, but you may have managed to bungle up one of the best rebuild opportunities in NBA history, and all through your incompetence and inability to find people to correctly cultivate talent. If this team somehow ends up missing out on either Wemby or Scoot, it will be an unmitigated disaster.

    Seems good if both sides agree. Taking back any kind of salary just to dump him for a meaningless pick isn’t worth it. Buying him out opens up playing time without taking anything in return.

    Ego was a big part of some of the all time best rockets teams. I wish him nothing but the best.
