Can't edit... actually he's shooting 55% from the field. Very early, but still impressive.

Harden didn't create enough space, and that would lead to a TURNOVER!

Kerr is a dumb ass and hates the Rockets. He doesn't even know what he is talking about. It wasn't karma that made Lin missed those free throws, it was because he busted his ass and was still hurting.

Maybe he should have passed to Harden but if I remember right the defender hadn't committed to Lin and still trying to play both players.

It was a pleasure to read your post. You hit the nail on the head with each point you made. I was surprised that LIn constantly went around picks one game after he was critsized for not doing so. He took it constructively and changed. It shows his maturity and desire to become the best Bballer he can be. Once again, your post was great.

The spacing was very close and if he passed it to Harden there was a high probablity that it would have resulted in a turnover. Lin passes when others have a better look.

i just watched it again and it doesn't look as bad as you described. he hit the floor but immediately got on one knee and stayed there for a bit to gather himself. both harden and parsons came over and extended their hands but backed off to give him some space. beverley backed off a bit too and according to lin, they're very close friends.

i'm not saying they're all best buds and there are no chemistry issues - of course there are and that takes time. and about people yelling at each other - it's on the coach to rein that in, especially in public. players are gonna be pissed after a loss. lin was pretty animated when talking to howard after the game as well.

I seen this nonsense and was like wtf, now they know that sh** was wrong. You don't treat your teammates like that period. I agree something has to be done and I might hit Morey Dwight and James on twitter as well. I surely hope when they look at film today ole McHale would address that nonsense. He is from the old school and back then they went to war with one another. What's crazy Howard went after someone the other day when they fouled Bev hard. Hmmm makes you wonder.

D12 I'm not happy with you missing ft's repeatedly and stepping out of bounds in the 3rd qtr. In a one point loss to the Fakers. Everything counts.

If you'll read my post, it's main point was to emphasize not trading Asik.
But I'm bored and at work, so I'll bite.

D measuring? He's in the game at the end of the game, right? That's what we're hoping for as a team, correct?
Do you expect the hack-a-howard to be a successful game strategy for our opponents? Yes, no, maybe so?

So more to your point that I obviously don't understand

D12 can't stay on the floor much if he can't hit his FT's in the 4th.
Which is bad for our team, mmkay
He's not Shaq, he has a mechanical offensive game.

Doesn't that make us sorta the same team we had last year when it counts?

To be honest, the presence on the court of Howard isn't felt even when he is scoring. The impact on the game is very minimal.

His attitude and all the laughing around like he is some kind of super star when he didn't accomplish a thing yet annoys me terribly.

I don't understand why people are so upset at Howard. Yeah, he should be able to make free throws, but everyone KNEW he sucked at it coming in. If harden misses free throws then yeah, that's a total choke job. But dudes, it's Dwight Howard. He sucks at it. And he's always sucked at it. It's nothing out of the ordinary.

I don't think it's a secret that Howard favors Beverley.

I'm not a big fan of Lin but he had a good game yesterday. Beverley and his hustle has gotten us many steals , rebounds , etc.. but beyond that heart. Wasn't Dwight saying he liked Rockets PG's? Reference to Harden as acting pg?

Either way F all that defenses wins games. Shut em down break their confidence. Go for the kill rinse and repeat. We have a scary team and I know Harden can D up. He needs stop being so soft and/or scared to be clowned (assumption). No one can be that lost on a court....

I got off point but oh well.

My pro bel yesterday wasn't even free throws. My problem is him fumbling balls in the paint on easy passes. He is never aware in the paint or expecting the ball. Sometimes I feel Asik has better hands (obviously not true). There were at least three - four plays with in the same 4-10 min spam. Great feeds from Asik, Harden, and one from Parson or Lin. That's a extremely easy 4-8 points lost. Just not being aware looking expecting a rebound when ball isn't even up yet.

This team needs to stfu with the bickering and unite. Work thru their faults and weaknesses. Instead of throwing people under the bus. It's been a handful of games. They need to lose the scapegoat and go practice.

This. That was a good defensive play. Lin was waiting for the defender to commit. But the guy kept staying between Lin and Harden. So Lin took it to the hoop. On a 2 on 1 like that, even if you miss, you will either get fouled or your teammate is right there to make the put back.

Lin probably should have given up the ball earlier to force the defender to commit. But he missed the split second window to do that and from that point on it wasn't wrong for him to take it all the way.

Look at him this year though, getting outplayed by Isaiah Thomas who's coming off the bench

D'antoni got to be smiling in his sleep last night. Not only his team beat Dwight's team in Houston, he completely exploited Dwight weakness by hacking him in the 4th. Setting a double screen with Gasol stepping up and away from Dwight to pick off Bev (could have been Lin also) was a brilliant move. That forced Dwight having to make a quick read and decide how to defend. Let's face it, using his head is not his strength! I bet the last play worked out exactly like how he drew it up in the huddle. That last play not only won them the game, best of all, he totally exposed Dwight.

I agree with Kerr. Lin should have passed the ball. He had a pretty good angle to feed Harden the moment he pushed the ball pass the free throw line. Looking at the replay, he seemed determined to take it to the hole. James would have done the same.
