C'mon, DD. I hope that's humor. You're better than this.

Can we bring V-Span to run pg duties, too? :p

I don't know what to believe anymore in this endless he said she said. So I choose to take everything with a grain of salt. No shade intended on cyberx.

So, you're saying Dwight is a better option on offense than Dwight? If you're not saying that, then what is the point of this rhetoric?

I think he's worth 20M in respect to where the cap is going. Get an above average coach and he would be steal at that price. Pop and Budenholzer #1 and 2 in defense. That's not a coincidence.

Maybe Dwight is giving off negative energy to the team.

Dwight needs to be paired with an elite passing pg like Paul or Rubio to only put him in situations where he can succeed.
If we get one of those types, and he comes for under value, and injury free and buys into his role and learns to make free throws, i would love to have him back.

    So essentially, no.

I like Dwight and I am not sour.

Win a championship, big guy or die trying!

If we're talking about last playoff series, the best player among the Rockets was Harden and it's not even close.

Harden averaged 27/6/7 on 62 TS% with the highest PER, Win Shares, Plus Minus.. etc., virtually leading the Rockets in every category.

Dwight averaged 16/14 on 55 TS% which is not bad, but 2014-2015 playoff Harden was arguably one of the top 3 players (with Curry and Lebron), so enough with this "not showing up" non-sense.

And we are talking about how Dwight is negatively impacting this team current season with his ugly offensive and increasingly regressing defensive game.

BTW, what good is a $20 mil player if he somehow decides to coast the entire season and only give some semblance of effort in the playoffs? That's called a part-time job and we should pay him accordingly. Do you think it's coincidence that we had one of the best season records in recent Rockets history last year when Dwight was out majority of the season due to injury? Even this year, we are 6-0 perfect when Dwight was out. Yeah, really valuable piece for sure.

    That too. ;)

Look, I'm ready to move on from Dwight too and it's probably the right decision(we'll see) but I'm not gonna **** on him out the door.

It won't matter if he refuses to set picks.

Yeah, let's just ignore the totality of level of contribution for one or two bad games. Even in last year's playoffs, I don't recall Dwight doing anything impressive on the offensive end without Harden and J-Smoove basically spoon feeding him with ally-oops. He couldn't create a bucket by himself and it only got worse this season. Dwight fans should be thankful that he didn't receive more flak by the Rockets fans, because no other team will tolerate that **** from a $20 mil player.

One knucklehead Center for another knucklehead Center? Other than youth, what does Whiteside offer that Dwight doesn't?

We're talking about all 2 playoff series, you know, the time these two have been paired together. Portland & last year.

Didn't show up against Portland. Maybe it's not a "coin flip" series if he did.

Dwight is in decline. I don't think anyone would deny that. Hell, fired coach Kevin McHale even admitted that. Are we talking about how James is negatively impacting this team's current season with his turnovers & non-existent defense? Oh wait, yes we are. He's mocked nightly.

Agree. It'd be great if we could pay him accordingly. :)

In a perfect world, he plays all 82 games + all playoff games and dominates every night. Unfortunately this isn't a perfect world. But better he shows in the playoffs than regular season.
