Love would give you a better fit with Harden, and someone to run the offense through when he sits, but a confusing fit on the defensive end.

Im not saying he's bad, but I am saying that lets give Harden a chance with this coach before we decide to ship him off.

It also won’t get any lower. The Pelicans got a better deal by waiting on the AD trade

I agree, I want nothing to do with Cleveland.

But Drummond is better than you realize. He is the most disruptive center in NBA and the best rebounder.

His ball handling and passing is also underrated. And his 3ball is developing nicely.

Rockets would have to play 2-3 zone or Drummond dropping in man but this was defensive direction Silas was implying anyway.

between him and love I'd choose Drummond as well. If you don't like him in a contract year, just let him walk when the season is over and hes off your books. He has plenty of motivation to play well for another big deal at 27 years old. Durable and not injury prone.

What I am saying is they had some pieces that were championship material. You right D-Rock the fighting attitude is the reason we won but look at what we did we got rid of ALL the pitbulls for talented finesse players in a game that you need hardworking gunslingers to win. OKC this year is an example we were vastly a superior team than them yet we went to Game 7 to the very last play to win because they had a better locker room while we had the best players. All those guys you listed had one thing in common they called James Harden out and they ended up gone for people who would placate to the best player. Add Ariza and Jason Terry to the list as well

Would not mind having Love but probably could get more value for Westbrook elsewhere. They are trying to frame this in a way that makes Houston rush to take a bad deal. These players are still under contract. Come start of the season happy or not if they want to live that life they will play basketball. If they have any sense of pride they will try to win.

You guys know Perk is very very close with Russ right? And he is on good terms with James too. The 3 of them hung out often during the year. Perk wouldn’t ruin his relationship with either player especially Russ on some BS that isn’t true.

My exact thoughts. It couldn't be MDA, Harden was the real coach. He asked for Westbrook he got it.

The issue with Drummond isn’t talent related. It’s about his work ethic, and his willingness to do what his team needs on defense at the expense of his individual stats. He’s a more talented version of Hassan Whiteside right now.

There was a reason that Detroit gave him away for peanuts at the trade deadline last season.

This is true. Is it not out of the realm of possibility they embellish a bit? Using their platform for the wrong reasons. Trying to use media and personal relationships to wager front office jobs. Why should Harden and Westbrook have a say in the next GM? Being informed of decisions I understand. The coach I could understand but the GM? That's too much....Lebron don't even get that treatment. Nothing wrong with letting players know what the game plan is. They however don't own the team. Perk is not employed by Russ or Harden he knows no loyalty to them, he is paid to speculate and have the appearance that he know what he is talking about.

This board has been after Love for like 10 years. We will probably get him now that he always injured and over the hill.
