    I think for Russ. He just not about winning. Russ is about playing the way he wants to play. And then doing the things he wants to do outside of basketball.

    Cleveland has Garland and Sexton - both are younger and cheaper than Westbrook.

    Getting Russell would create a logjam at guard. Not to mention that adding Westbrook would do absolutely nothing to move the needle for them.

    Why would Cleveland do this?

    Sexton got some of the same personality traits as RWB. So I think Cleveland would wanna keep Sexton with RWB.

    Isn't Sexton pretty much a younger Wesbtrook? Does that work with Garland instead of Sexton?

    Love, Garland and a pick is a type of now and later trade that makes some sense, but it would require other changes to the team I think.

    Cleveland has Sexton, Garland and Dellavedova. Adding Westbrook to that by subtracting a frontcourt player just seems backwards for Cleveland.

    True, he had a bad rookie season, but in a bad situation for him (had to play behind Sexton), and at least he can shoot and has more upside overall.
