He was awful as a rookie. Awful. I'm not comparing DB to XSF to anyone else or making any sort of future prognostications, but for you to say he was anything short of a minor disaster as a rookie is total revisionist history.

That's a much better way of putting what I've been trying to say for a while, O linemen "sucking" their rookie year isn't THAT big a deal because it happens to guys that end up being awesome quite often. XSF looks bad right now, but he's got the size and strength to be a very good O linemen when he gets some of the finer points down. I think he'll be a lot better next season.

The pain in his knee has definitely subsided. Clowney "feels great".

I just want to see one game where Watt...crushes an opposing QB on 1st and...Then Clowney gets the QB on 2nd and..Then on 3rd down, Clowney crushes the QB on a pass and Watt becomes the recipient of a pick 6. Is this too much to ask for??? :)

I'd love them to re-make Tecmo Bowl with the Texans, and you could control either Watt or Clowney.

you guys are gonnaa blow your load over the first 1/2 sack. In the dark back recesses of the mind, you know exactly where this situation is going.

He can have 4 sacks Sunday and it doesn't mean a whole lot until he shows he can suit up and play 14-16 games a season. I don't think anyone doubts he has a lot of talent.

There is some unwritten rule of thumb that it can take up to 4 years for olinemen to finally get it.
May have come from Seth Payne, can't remember.
