    Haven't seen GH play this year, but I know Bill Simmons has been down on him. He said playing him in the final minutes of games is inexcusable right now.

    Getting Morris in that deal would be something. We would probably have to wait until the spring (or longer)for Hayward to get himself right. If Ainge made the call he knows something that we don’t. On paper a healthy Hayward and Morris would put us back in the hunt for a ring.

    Boston has several players that would upgrade our roster immediately. If this deal is a no go, I would trying to kick the tires on Brown and Rozier. A Brown / Morris package would work as well. Hell I don’t know what Morey is gonna do but it’s fun to fantasize until the next hot rumor surfaces.

    Hayward is a prime candidate for a top 10 albatross contract.
    Just last week there were reports that he's not where he wanted and he's fallen behind.

    This just shows that the team itself doesn't believe in him much.

    As for longjam, so far Brown and Tatum have also been horrible so I wouldn't roll the red carpet on them being any kind of stars yet.

    Gordon Hayward's contract has 3 years left, $31M, $32M, $34M. This season his stats line is 9.9 pts, 5.5 rebs, 2.8 ast, 12.8 PER on 25.6 minutes per game.

    Must stay away from Hayward!:eek:

    I can see some sort of lockeroom problem there tbh, Tatum and Brown have been a big part of the success the team had last season, i guess they don't exactly have the regular ego of a rookie/sophomore, and i'm pretty sure Hayward didn't sign with Boston to be some sort of 3&D/catch and shoot guy so...i'm curious to see how this situation will develop, not saying this is the reason of course, but the Celtics are not having a great start of the season so far.
