The rockets have 0 cap space. I am not sure how they are getting butler. What would the 76ers want from the rockets?

i didnt believe we would get butler before, and i damn sure dont believe it will happen this summer. ive kind of soured on butler anyway. If he isnt happy in philly, this guy will just never be happy. It seems like he wants to win, but also wants to be the top dog. he isnt good enough to be the top dog on a championship team. i mean if we can get him cool, its worth a shot...but if team chemistry is destroyed it wouldnt surprise me.

First we can take in 125% of the salary we send out, which was why CP3 opting in was so important for us last season.

Second, Nene and Hart combine for over $5M. Shump is $11M coming off the books. So Morey does have some wiggle room.

Shumps $11M coming off means nothing since we are over the cap.

The idea is Tillman doesn't want to pay the luxury tax for a GLeague scrub but he will pony up for Jimmy B.

I can believe it and I can see it.

If Jimmy tells Philly hes walking and prefers Houston via SnT otherwise he will sign with say LA, philly will trade him.

Now, the only way we get to his salary is both Gordon and Tucker. They are perfect fits for philly and it is a reduction in salary as well. It also allows them to focus on retaining Tobias who seems a better fit.

It makes philly scary good, but also makes Houston scary good.

We could then use the TPMLE to find a rotation player to fill the void.

Rockets can do a sign and trade and offer something like EG(expiring), draft picks(2nd or so) and fillers. EG would actually be a perfect fit for Philly. He will provide needed shooting, decent defense and can create of the dribble. We Throw in Nene who will probably get waived and we sign back for the vet min. And remember this would be a win/win for Philly anyway, Butler can just walk and they get nothing...

That's where a Third team comes in, and we start losing First Round picks..lol...but it can definitely happen without us losing PJ or Capela
