    I don't have much faith in JB but as long as he is the head coach of the Rockets, he will have my support.

    Its pretty depressing that 11 games into a season where many thought we could contend, it seems like we are throwing this season away. I still think we can climb into a 5 or 6 seed but without a true coach, I don't think we will survive.

    Thibs would be interesting for next summer but I'm a little weary of Thibs style. Just as McHale was laid back which eventually led to players tuning him out, Thibs' nose to grindstone has the potential to make players tune out too.

    JVG would be great but he has one of the best jobs in the world and is considered to be one of the best doing it. I think he enjoys watching games and sleeping lol. I keep remembering pictures of him with literal bags under his eyes when he coached here.

    I think out next coach is somewhere in college or a former player. It definitely needs to be a coach that Harden is going to respect and play defense for.

    Pass on Brooks and Thibs. I'd sooner vote to rehire JVG (which I'm sure Les would have more of a problem rehiring him than JVG would actually care about being rehired) than consider Brooks or Thibs.

    Not that I'm a Brooks fan AT ALL...

    ...but if I'm ANY coach right now...much less Scott Brooks I'm not sure I would want this job either. If you're an established name (Jeff Van Gundy, Thibs, Scott Brooks, Doug Collins) there's NO way I take that job right now.

    I don't think Brooks is an upgrade over McHale. That said, if Brooks can help the Rockets obtain Kevin Durant, then I will take Brooks+Durant over "Coach X & no Durant"

    (providing the Rockets have good assistants. ;) )

    You fire the head coach.... but then name the head coach from the same staff? To make it better, you choose a 35 year old with no head coaching experience?

    Look at the Rockets coaching staff right now.... it is a joke.....

    Bickerstaff (HC)

    Finch (Lead Assistant)

    Dunn (makes no strategic decisions or input)
    Buckner (primarily works the players out)
    Gunning (has no say with in game decisions)
