    Matt Thomas needs to be FIRED

    Clyde Drexler needs to be FIRED

    Worrell is senile and keeps talking of the number 1 pick but he is fine for the LULZZZ

    Here is a sample of Worrell calling the Mavericks first round series 2 yrs ago. Pretty sure 1st round is commonly covered by the local network as well as the national, just like when they are on TNT during the year.

    Bill Worrell is a true professional & if this is it for him, I'll miss him & wish him nothing but the absolute best.

    But hopefully this isn't it for him.

    Worrell has scaled back a bit this year, calling only home games and a smattering of road games, all in Texas. “It was a grind,” he says of his old schedule. “The travel was killing me.” With his lightened workload, he has no immediate plans to retire; the Rockets, he says, are allowing him to decide when it’s time to step down.​

    All announcers are huge dorks on air. I couldn't care less to be honest.

    They'll just replace him with another dork.

    The kind of commentary I would enjoy wouldn't be broadcastable tho lol

    Worrell needs to stay as long as he wants. Stick to home games, let Craig and Matt do the road. He should be able to leave when ever he wants too, he has earned it.

    And to those who say Matt Thomas sucks, why? Matt Thomas is awesome. Plus he was our announcer during Clutch City. He has TWO championship rings as well lol

    I think if this was his last regualr season game there would be more mention of it on the broadcast like they did Gene and Jim

    I don't see anything awesome about Matt Thomas. I seriously think that he's 1 of the worst Public Address Announcers in the NBA. The Rockets went from JPS (Harden) to Matt Thomas (Tyler Ennis) :(

    I love Matt Thomas. But I don't pay any attention at all hardly to the pa announcer when I'm at games lol. He seems very similar to jps. Loud and excited when we score, and dull and low when the opponent scores.

    Meh... How can one even tell who's a good PA guy lol

    Worrell is fine as a play-by-play guy (other than being overly a homer to the point of being annoying) - but otherwise he is fine.

    When Bill retires there will be mentions of it Calvin Murphy will also be in the booth with him (like they did when they did this season or last - I can't remember) and they will have some type of celebration. Perhaps it will be the end of next season after a 60+ wins and then a 3rd championship.

    Why don't they just move him to the pregame/half time show with murph? That way he doesn't have to travel or spend extended minutes with a mic on lol
