GS is loaded on the frontcourt. Their problem has been they don't have enough minutes to go around this year.

What they'll look for is a guard. McCaw is trash, and the other one is unplayable.

LOL. Zaza is trash defender and Javale is an end of bench player. If Bogut could still play then the team who knows him best, used him best, would have signed him immediately to upgrade that position.

You actually believe GS went out their way to sign and start, what you call, trash for two straight seasons? You honestly believe Kerr, Brown, the FO and god knows how many competent people over there signed him for that?

Zaza Pachulia has been apart of good defenses and NBA teams for his entire career now. Miluakee had an elite defense with him getting big minutes in 2015.

You think a guy like Rick Carlisle started him in Dallas when they were still trying to be competitive in Dallas with Parsons and an extended Dirk, despite him being trash? They won 42 games that year.

Please. Pachulia is a good smart NBA player. Great on the boards and a good screener. He's only underrated by people who don't understand why and how teams win games.

He had a very underrated impact in last years finals as well. He completely neutralized Tristan Thompson.

He arguably fits in better than Bogut did due to mobility on offense.

West is very good, Looney is serviceable, Bell is pretty good, and there's Draymond, on top of Pachulia. Then Durant who can play the 4, Casspi who's been good for them at the 4 this year, and lastly McGee. Compare that to the Rockets frontcourt rotation.

That's 8 guys, 5 of which who can play center, not even counting looney who actually has been put at the 5 at times.

All this is to say, GS does not need Bogut. Houston does barring some trade or other buyout candidate. And Bogut can still do all the same things he did years ago.

Lastly, put how trash Lopez is in LA into perspective. A guy who is in his absolute prime, proved himself to be a good NBA player at the 5 in BKN, and goes to LA for his career to be derailed in a terrible offense with no identity.

Bogut's only question marks are offensive capability and health. Defensively he's at least as good as Nene, and as good as Capela when on-court. His DRPM numbers in Dallas where he quit under Carlisle were extremely good. I really think he's still a good useful player.

dude Nene is much better then Bogut.. He may be a slight upgrade on defense but not enough to move the needle.. I think we need to make worth while moves..

And yet this gem of a player is still available, why is that?

And even Draymond went out of his way praise Bogut over Zaza. Zaza is a positional defender but poor rim protector and his screens are not nearly as nasty as Bogut's WERE.

Problem is Nene isn't good for 20 minutes every night. Its not Bogut or Nene, its Bogut AND Nene.

At this stage in their careers, neither can handle a full time backup role, and would likely be very acceptive, and effective in sharing the backup C position

Bogut is the type of player I would never want on my team under any circumstance

McCaw is NOT trash. We messed up not drafting him over Chinanu Onuaku. I agree that Golden State has depth in their frontcourt and Zaza is not trash. However, Bogut must have been a problem in the locker room (minimally) for there to be zero interest by Golden State. A healthy Bogut is/was better than all of their current bigs.

To be fair, Gerald Green was available for a while too. Might be worth looking into for playoff depth.

PER36, in nearly 2,000 minutes, McCaw has consistently averaged 9-3-3 with 44% from the field and 30% from three. That is PER36 we are talking.

Let's see how long he lasts, because Nanu is having an incredibly underrated season in the DLeague right now, and he is 2 full years younger than McCaw.

2 Full years in the G League (soon to be traded this week or waived) vs 2 full years in the rotation of the greatest nba team of all-time? Please man. mcCaw is the understudy to Iguodala and Livingston. His ballhandling, vision and defense is his strength. Chinanu Onuaku will be out of the league by next week.

Someone hasn't been paying attention. Nanu is coming along just fine, and McCaw has shown exactly what he is already, Luther Head 2.0 (Except Luther was better).

I'm pretty sure Nanu could average 4-1.5-1.5 in 16 minutes a game with the Rockets, too. :D

What vision? His 1 assist a game in 16 minutes vision? Hmm.

Nanu just turned 20, and he is the best C in the GLeague as we speak. I wouldn't be so quick to count him out already.
