I know most of you are Americans but the C-bomb isn't that bad in places like Aus and the UK. Mostly a sign of endearment
I dont know, i feel like his tank is probably empty. If it weren’t for his age, injuries, limited skill set and drama...yeah, he’d make a great backup.
I would say **** that guy but we're trying to win a championship. I would take just about anybody to help us win, except Draymond... **** that guy.
I wouldn't want this immature quitter anywhere near this team. edit: oh never mind I saw Andrew B and though it was Andrew Bynum.
I don’t think ppl on here understand how good of a screen setter, shot blocker, defender, passer, and rebounder Bogut is. He may not give you the fancy ally-oop dunk that Capela gives you or the offensive skills Nene brings to the table but he brings grit, nastyness, and toughness that we will need for the post season against 1st round matchup that’s looking like it’s going to be NO. We may also need him against OKC who we May face in the 2nd round, and if we get past them we def will need him against ZAZA who’s a dirty b*stard.
you know, part of me would take bogut if he's basically for free. It couldn't hurt to have another "tough guy" on our team, to fight dirty with dirty. Who doesn't want more drama with him playing dirty against draymond right? But ya, if we're talking the basketball side of things, if a guy like tyson chandler or even greg monroe (any of those phoenix bigs not getting minutes) was available, i'd prioritize them, especially if their sell price is low. A defensive minded, rebounding, tough big is always a plus for us, especially since nene's health is a little on the precautious side. Brook Lopez is actually pretty good too. Arguably better for us than all these other guys as he's proven to me that he's actually a decently good rim protector (I don't think he started his career with this ability), and he can shoot the 3 and hit finesse chip shots ... Easily the best offensive center of these mentioned. Bogut's going to get hurt after two games so ... ya.
If Nene ends up hurt, or we NEED depth at the C.. he's good for 10-15 minutes. Other than that I would have preferred him a few years ago before he decided Dallas was a better destination than Houston.
Hate Bigut with a passion. Absolute jerk. But he is the kind of role players we need to add to beat GS. He sets a lot of illegal screens but more importantly gets away with it. He will fit right in with our offense. He would be the best rim protector on our team after Capella. He is going to rile up Draymond and other Warriors. He is going to be physical and dirty in the playoffs. He has a pretty good bball IQ. Can't pass this one up.
Here's how to squash the twitter beef: We sign Bogut for whatever game in the future. He tweets before the game something like, "@DenverNuggets See you next friday"
i think most of us understand just fine. after all weve seen him do what he does year after year during their championship runs. but that doesnt change the fact that there are still potential downfalls to signing him as mentioned in this thread
Insurance for when Nene gets hurt again. Otherwise will be the 12th man on the bench relegated to towel waving
I will say this I was able to tolerate 2 years of Jason Terry on this team because he was able to help the team succeed. JASON ****ING TERRY If Bogut can help this team win and we have a need for him then I'll be fine with him on the team.
