    Is it odd that the jersey doesn't bother me that much? I mean, Johnson is such a generic name. Maybe if it were a more distinct name, it would hit home with me a little more?

    The fact that it's 81 helps a bit too....but just knowing who is in it on Sunday's is going to suck.

    Not sure I'd put AJ on the same pedestal I put Hakeem on. Hakeem brought the city it's first 2 (and only) championships. And there's an argument to be made that he is the greatest Center in the history of the NBA. Certainly top 5.

    AJ was great, but nowhere near the GOAT. He's not even the greatest Texan of all time anymore, thanks to JJ.

    Maybe this is just me getting older and more cynical about professional sports. :)
