 yes Hardy was the reason the Cowboys sucked this year. It had nothing to do with Romo's injury.

You have to find a way to exploit inefficiencies in the free agent market. Taking a chance on a questionable character is one way. Taking a chance on an injured player is another way. Taking a chance on a player who had a bad year but has had a good career is a 3rd way.

#Texans owner Bob McNair said GM Rick Smith does a great job and he is not making any changes to his role. — @taniaganguli

Asked if he planned to fire Rick Smith, McNair said, "No, I think Rick's done a good job." Asked if he thinks O'Brien and Smith can work together, McNair said, "I see no reason they can’t. They’ve been working together." — @Pancakes_on_NFL

front office isn't the problem. coach's inability or not wanting to hitch the wagon to a young qb is. that's all on coach.

rumors of peyton manning almost being a texan only for kubiak vetoing, then all of the sudden rick smith becomes close to Mcnair? put the pieces together and it shows you Bob McSmith were the ones wanting manning. Then Bob Mcsmith wanted ed reed, they get him, then that pisses off Wade.

Bob mcnair, kyle mcnair and rick smith are the same people! why doesn't everyone see it? ahhhhhh it's like i'm on crazy pills.

And I don't mind. making the leap of faith to commit to a non journeyman qb will improve everything up and down the roster, which has a lot of talent on D. Plus the Oline is solid when they're healthy and not shifting all over.

Coming off a 12-4 season, kubiak had all the say and he deserved it. so when things didn't go well, the hammer struck harder.

I can't begin to understand this. I can't think of a comparable situation anywhere in all of pro sports.

If OBie started Savage the last two seasons and the Texans went 14-18 instead of 18-14, everybody would be calling for OBie's head and OBie would likely be fired.

Methinks that McNair (and a majority of the fans ftm) would rather have a winning record than doing the Cleveland Brown approach of finding a QB through the draft.
