    There’s atrocious, horrible, awful, bad, average, ok, decent, good, awesome, amazing, etc.

    Lots of descriptors.

    Faried isn’t ok or average. He’s worse than that and on the perimeter I’d even say awful.

    Except for rebounding where he is really good.

    Anything is possible, but perhaps he may want to play if he gets a defined role here. That may not be that easy with an unconventional coach like MDA, but I think it's doable. It's also possible he may join OKC too. Patterson is mostly on the bench, and Grant is still relatively inexperienced.

    Yep. Gerald will go back to being the guy we bring in for instant offense and hope his horrendous defense doesn't make him a net negative.

    I love Gerald and what he does for the city, but I can't for the life of me figure out why he never bothered to work much on his defense. He's got all the right skills for it, and was bouncing around the league for so long. You'd think that at some point, he'd have figured out that becoming an average to above-average defender would keep him in the NBA longer and earn him more money.

    Why is everyone so excited about this? He clearly has an unusual neck issue that may not be resolved for some time. Maybe even to the point where he doesnt play another game this season. Pretty big red flag if you ask me.
