MLS did not give David Beckham all of that money. His contractual agreement to MLS gives him around $6.5 million a season. The rest of the $250 million comes from endorsements that he signed.

Again there is a difference between being well off and wiping your sh$t with $100 dollar bills... When the question is asked would 100 Million be enough? You probably would answer hell yeah what can I do will all that money.. Well son, I would ask,can I get more? Because I know what I can do with that money and it's not enough. Lebron is the type that wants a Yatch not some dinky 10-20 million dollar boat. He want's properties all around the globe. He's looking at the bigger picture which requires large amounts of cash.

So for you 20 million is more than enough? I guess you have low standards because in the mega rich world that's a dime in the bucket.

Of course, it is no shame to be poor, but it's no great honor, either.

hell let him go.. at least we wouldn't have to face him...

but I don't ever want to hear the Rox are lucky to win the finals because Lebron was in Europe years down the road.

Lebron is running with the right crowd. Saw Bill Gates and Warren Buffet sitting courtside at Lebrons invitation. Next thing he has to do is apply for membership to Augusta National.

The guy is ALL about the money, as the last guy said, he hangs with Warren Buffet, that's a smart move, cause that guy is pure gold.

Everyone keeps saying "hell why wouldn't you for that kind of money" but it seems to me that there isn't any team that could possibly offer it.

I'd consider alot of things, but where is the this coming from....?? Unless I'm wrong, it seems grossly apparent to me that he couldn't possibly get a deal like that anywhere...

European billioniares could offer it. They could spend $50 mil on Lebron, and still have billions and billions of dollars left over.

Yes, dad, you are right. Because wiping my ass with $100 bills will somehow make me a better person and make me happier. That will also be an indication for my high standards and make me better than all of you.   I try to refrain from assuming things about people but you sound like you believe that you are better than someone who is worse off just because you have more money. You are not.

Again, the question is not, whether you would rather have 20 million or 50 million? That's an obvious answer. It's, would you rather be a big fish in a small pond and get 50 million or a big one in the biggest for a 'mere' 20 million. As I said, I am disappointed to learn that even the best players aren't really dedicated to the game itself. I can't understand it.
