Also, if we could step things up over RealGM-level kneejerk discourse and not pretend like Cousins' season high in points (against the Raptors) and career high in rebounds (against the Raptors) somehow represents his normal production, that'd be pretty great.

At the end of the day, he's still a first scoring option on a bad team who has averaged 16 PPG on 40% shooting since his suspension. As a center. And a first scoring option. No amount of thumping on skinny power forwards changes that.

I know the sobering reality is less fun than gawking at career highs against one of the most undersized frontcourts in the NBA, but we can get through this. I believe in you.

Knicks are overrated because they're playing in the Leastern conference, and have to face teams like the Bobcats, Bucks and Cavs on a regular basis. Compare that to the West where you have Spurs, OKC, Nuggs, Clips etc.

They beat SAS twice this year including blowing them out yesterday, they beat the nuggets, and haven't played the other 2....

I want the we-only-read-box-scores people to understand something: Toronto has three natural centers on their team. That's usually a good amount, except two of them, both starters, are injured and haven't played in a month, and the uninjured one is Aaron Gray, who doesn't belong in the NBA. Aaron Gray exploded for 0 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 fouls in 7 minutes last night. The other guys guarding Cousins were forwards like the (this can't be right...210 pounds? Ahahahaha that's what it says. 6'9", 210 pounds!) 210-pound Amir Johnson. You want to get giddy and go HAM over a disinterested caucasian arm bar belonging to Aaron Gray along with some domination of some stickman defenders playing out of position? Man oh man ClutchFans. You're better than this.

Speaking of Aaron Gray: You know, BeeBeard is an out of shape ex-baller with bad ankles, but BeeBeard is still pretty sure he can hoop the crap out of Aaron Gray. Present him before me, I will fart in that man's dinner tonight.

Lookit this guy, this walking piece of context. 30 and 20 on that. Sup tanning machine. You got that base coat ready? Alright, let's do this thing. Ignore that, that's what success smells like.

Cousins could be another foundational player if disciplined, but we may not be able to pry him away now that his stock is rising.

If cousins matured and transformed his body/mind ala kevin love, he would be the best center in this deprived big man nba

Cousins's stock will fall next time he gets suspended. He's a great talent, but his maturity and character might not be a positive influence on the youngest squad in the NBA. We've somehow won 8 of our last 10 games without his services. Pass.

Don't want him anymore. He'll dominate for two plays and then make a stupid mistake and lose his cool. This is his 3rd season folks

He would still be a perfect 4 in our starting line-up.

I dunno about perfect... he can shoot jumpers, but my concern would be if he would stretch the floor enough to open lanes for Harden and Lin to drive. Not sure that he can do that as well as some other PFs out there like Love or Bosh. or even PPat.

I'm willing to bet that with the change of scenery here in Houston, he would be willing to put that bad attitude behind him. He would make a good second option.
