Just because he completely and totally sucked, didn't have to be guarded beyond 6 feet from the basket, was a walking turnover, had no self-awareness and by Game 5 you were left wondering if he was on the Lakers payroll does not mean he was the scapegoat.

    Let's see
    Dwight Howard
    Chris Paul
    Russell Westbrook
That's one heck of a Hardheaded hit list.

What’s that got to do with Russ stinking it up?

Look, there's some truth to this, but a bad "match" didn't make him shoot airballs and throw the ball out of bounds when he was handed the keys to the offense in crunch time. He was awful in the playoffs, and it was 100% on him. If he wants to blame his injury or COVID, fine, but he can't blame Harden for how awful he was in the playoffs.

I've never seen a player put up such incredible stats up and down the sheet be such a negative on a basketball court. It was truly remarkable. Too many close games last year because of his play. I miss the blowouts we had with CP3 in 2017/18.

I think Russ will put up huge numbers in Washington and they will make the playoffs and everyone will go back to pretending like he's an incredible asset. Wall sadly will never have trade value again even if he puts up 20/10 numbers. As long as you are on this team, the media will undervalue you. Maybe Silas changes that.

    Harden was MVP in 2017.

    Dwight Howard the scapegoat
    Kevin McHale the scapegoat
    Chris Paul the scapegoat
    Russell Westbrook the scapegoat
    John Wall, you next. :D

Russ was ass but that’s your guy, your BFF, the guy you wanted (to play with)...

    “James Harden and _______ simply couldn’t co-exist...”

The same thing that had to do with Hardhead stinking it up in the past and blaming others. I'm going to start calling him "Blames" Harden for real.

Similar to how a healthy Russ stunk it up all season long.

Both Harden and Westbrook sucked, but I can believe that within the organisation everyone looked at Westbrook and let Harden slide.
