    Good point. He might have gotten this news item from his newsletter. However, I'm skeptical of this since there is no mention of Capela being traded.:rolleyes: His source thus seems different to me.

    Wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy starts back up causing havoc within the wolves if they don't hop on the rockets deal soon.

    I haven't read the whole thread. But this is actually bad "news" for us in terms of acquiring Bulter .

    IF MIN is confident we will resign Butler , why should they trade his to us for the rental price ?

    We might be confident that we will keep butler , but it's best for our cost (in terms of what we have to give up to get him) if the public / MIN thinks there's a good chance he leaves .

    he doesnt want him on the rockets.. thats all.. much rather see him on an eastern conference team , than create another super team on the west. He has said many times its a hunch on his side.

    No, holic gets the basic facts right. He would have shared that Capela can't be traded until December 15th (I believe).

    Maybe roe 4 christ has returned. No, no, no, not Christ. Roe 4 christ. If Christ had returned I would have turned into ash like an Avenger.

    Gordon plus 4 firsts is exorbitant either way lol.

    Even if we are confident we can resign him , he will still be a FA

    EG And 4 firsts for a disgruntled soon to be FA is just too much .

    Obviously I'm biased as a rockets fan, but knight , Chris and 4 1sts is a fair deal . If they don't take that then I hope thibs stubbornness blows up in their face and they lose butler for nothing after a swift round 1 exit

    You "know" Harden, CP3 and Morey "knows" Butler will re-sign with the Rockets, then there "may be" third teams involved, and Gordon "may be" involved. Then you tell us to say goodbye to Gordon as if you "know" he's about to be gone.

    it's just that, with the exception of John McClain, beat writers' hunches can be very reliable. I guess we'll know the story soon enough. This saga seems like it's coming to an end.

    Gordon is useless if he isn't hitting shots.

    Butler will put some shackles on you and take your best player out of the game.

    Morey,

    Do not let another team swoop in and take him.

    Harden, Paul, Butler, Tucker, and Capela and dethrone the Warriors.

    its hard to turned down 4 first rounders + Gordon (If indeed thats the final offer) it will be very hard for wolves to turned that down
