    Watched the first half of the LAL vs Minn game last night. Dieng looked good. Then I looked up his contract, lol..."not gonna do it, just wouldn't be prudent."

    I agree on the mini-panic part. When you're that close to a ring last year and coming into the season with high expectations, you can't accept a 1-4 start. More damning that our record (which is still early in the season) is the fact that key players who just signed enormous contracts like CP3 and Capela are not playing up to their usual caliber. We all know CP3 will decline in the next 2-3 years. But Morey is probably thinking maybe CP3's window shut last year. Maybe this is his big decline year. And what about Capela. He looks nothing like the beast that he was last year during his contract year. That energy and passion not there. Melo. Let's not even go there. He's pretty much done. Gordon will work his way back into shape but he's not consistent enough to give us that lift on a weekly basis. So what do we have that we can count on from last season. Other than Tucker, that's pretty much it. Looking at our early season chemistry problems and regression on defense, Morey should be worried. Teams around us like Denver, Portland, Jazz, Pelicans have gotten better this season. Warriors look unbeatable. The gap just got a lot bigger, folks.[/QUOTE]
