If this is the case, how are the Rockets sure that Brown would be available to them? Maybe Brown will stay in Philly or just retire. If the Rockets haven't tampered, then aren't they just making some blind bet that Brown would be available? If JVG soon signs with the Cavs and Brown does not come to Houston for whatever reason, then the Rockets will lose out on their 2 top chocies.
I didn't think we had two clear cut canidates for the coaching spot. I personaly, would take Dunlavy over Jeff Gundy in a New York minute.
THANKS RON! THIS IS GREAT! He is quitting! But God..............it will be interesting. Mo Cheeks going to Philly...then who going to Blazers? And Wizards? And Kings? And Lakers? And Cavs? And Clippers? And Hawks? And GOD......that's a lot of teams....ALSO NEW ORLEANS. Maybe Dallas...Jesus! Maybe Denver too..... AND HOUSTON. Larry Brown. Come on. Come to Houston. I don't think Larry likes Lebron........
There was an article in today's Chicago Tribune (yes, Sam Smith) who explained that Larry Brown was pretty pissed that Iverson made the Olympic team. Yes, that's right. Not elated. Pissed off. I think the "practice! we talkin bout practice!" relationship might have finally run its course.
Next to A.I., Francis will be a mild-mannered saint...I'm sure Brown realizes that the make-up and character of the team lends itself to better utilization of his coaching technique...I think Brown is tired of beating on a dead horse which won't get it...I think this group will wake up and listen due to the slap in the face coaching change (which several players have said is so surprising...). I think Rudy was to nice and lax...Now it's time to practice more!
