Imminently reasonable except for the conservative bs of "strict constructionist" that they bray about at times. Other times they just do the conservative activist routine like Gore vs. Bush that shows that only an idiot or someone who is pushing the talking points of conservatism would fall for their allegedly "strict constructionist" line. With strict constructionist we would still have Jim Crowe.
I'm glad that she has this philosophy. It's the kind of thing that enabled civil rights to progress and may indeed finally allow homosexual couples the same options as heterosexual couples. So if your actions ever match your lip service regarding those issues, I'd think you'd be happy she said that.
i heard on the michael barry show yesterday that she's a member of "la raza", the hispanic version of KKK, is that for real? And her comment about white lawyer or judge is pretty racist to me..... plus the fact that more than 1/2 of the her cases got overturned or overruled?? Talk bout a bad juge.... I guess Obama's picking her is really for political reason or just kissing hispanics' ass?
I heard she eats kittens, is it true. I guess Obama really is the anti christ seriously, on the over turnning of her decisions, that's decisions actually reviewed by the SC, which is a total of 5, of the 232 decisions that news week found, the real percentage is less than 2%.
Her remarks are racist. Judges should not be "empathetic" they should be impartial. They should be blind to race, creed, color and only rule based on the law. Racebait? Really? Because I am thinking that if a white male, who just so happened to differ in his beliefs from his fascist liberal opponents, makes this comment that provda would b running this story lambasting this person 24/7.
basso is a big fan of Jim Crow and all sorts of other racist practices (see his obsession with ACORN), and a supporter of official bigotry, such as a constitutional amendment against gay marriage, and his continuous whining about double standards is classic race politics 101. It's obvious from his posts here that that is how he feels about the issue. Another angry white middle aged male frustrated at his station in life, too polite to tell his wife's friends, and taking it out on those below him in the social ladder through the anonymous glory of the internet. Technology!
please provide back up for your scurrilous charge that i support a constitutional amendment against gay marriage. In addition, please detail precisely how criticism of ACORN is racist, or akin to supporting Jim Crow. feel free to copy/paste from your favorite kos diaries. MGIAA.
"I have followed this man's career for some time. He is a delightful and warm, intelligent person who has great empathy and a wonderful sense of humor." July 1991, George H.W. Bush On Clarence Thomas' nomination to the SC
1. Your unyielding support of George W. Bush, Sarah Palin...etc., politicians who wish to enshrine anti-gay discrimination in the U.S. Constitution, indicates this. 2. Your continuing hysterical and false ranting about ACORN, which I guess you consider being a good soldier in the Republican E-Fire Hose campaign against black voters (who you label, unrepentantly, as racists for voting for Obama). Your internet persona wholeheartedly supports racist and bigoted polices, resorts to race-baiting and bigoted taunts - that's the way you are here. It's fine, others do it, I've done it. But this is the role that you've chosen to embrace. Be proud.
Carrie Prejean does not support gay marriage. Obama does not support gay marriage. MrFisher supports Obama. MrFisher is a Prejean-admiring homophobe.
Your unyielding support of politicians who wish to constitutionally enshrine anti-gay discrimination indicates exactly how high of a priority you put on that issue - and surprise, it's the same as the rest of your concern for minorities - nonexistent.
Well Michael Berry is a f@%#ing moron. The National Council of La Raza is like the NAACP. John McCain gave a speech at their conference just last year. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Nd_SqUqQVlM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Nd_SqUqQVlM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> Instead of blindly following the rantings of one idiot on the radio, why don't you do your own research.
obama incorporated the don't ask don't tell policy? be carefull basso this is a quagmire for you, it is the military who believes it will harm the armed forces, do you disagree with them
Regardless of who is making that statement it should have not bearing what so ever on whether they will make a good judge or not. If they are being empathetic on the bench, by definition they are not being a good judge. Lets hope the democratic majority in the senate is as thorough with the hearings on Mrs Sotomayor as there were with Mr Thomas.
Well Michael Steele says that the GOP needs to stop Slammin’ And Rammin On Sotomayor Why won't his party listen to him?
So are you saying that actions speak louder than words on gay rights? Well your actions are: Unabashedly supporting and voting for politicians who want to ban gay marriage in the constitution. My actions don't include that.
Gay marriage has no place in the constitution. This should not even be a debate. It should be handled by each state as should most other things the liberal socialists try to bring up to the federal level. The framework of the constitution strictly forbids the federal government from getting involved in these matters and directs them back to the states.
