That was Steve Buschemi from two seasons ago. He played Tony's cousin, remember. Chris is referred to as Tony's nephew, even though he's technically Carmela's blood nephew, not Tony.

But I don't think Doc had anything to do with that hit. He's new to the show as far as I remember.

yeah ok buschemi from season 5..... that was the hit on billy, when he shot him and phil. i remember that now. tony went and killed tony b at the farm house. i agree, i don't think doc was around until recently, but he's the one that orchestrated this hit. so who was killed in the restraunt with silvio?

edit (from hbo): Silvio is at dinner with Gerry Torciano when a shooter working for Doc Santoro takes Gerry out. Sil gets out unscathed.

so who was this gerry guy? just a NY mobster?

I rewatched seasons 1-5 recently, and watched season 6 when it came on, but i really don't remember much about Chris and his wife...did I just forget about that or did they address it in season 6?

All of the sudden he's married with a kid. I honestly don't remember much about season 6 other than Tony being shot.

They showed Chris and Kelly getting pregnant and engaged during last season, but it was totally glossed over. I'm sure it was a stylistic choice to emphasize how Chris overcompensated with her in light of basically killing Adriana.

Doc ordered the hit on Gerry, who was being groomed by Phil to take over eventually as boss of the NY crew. Doc wants to take over, so he takes out his main competition.

That's why Tony wants Little Carmine to take over of "his" family (remember, his dad was the boss for a long time before he died and jonny sack took over). Tony is probably looking out for himself, since he knows he can manipulate little Carmine... but probably won't get along so well with power-hungry Doc (just like he didn't get along with power-hungry Phil).

Doc had nothing to do with killing Billy... that was all Tony Blundetto (tony's cousin) revenge for them (Phil+Jonny Sack) killing one of his friends that was also in line to take over the NY crew.

This saprano thing gets old now. Every season pretty much the same.

I miss uncle Junior. Do you remeber he spoiled surprise party for Tony's father in law.

"What you need a surpise party for. It's a surprise for you everyday morning waking up find yourself still alive anyways"

    And another one

"They made an offer to the chinese mob boss. He couldnt [bleep] understand the offer"

I was just thinking, why do you think they keep bringing up the terrorist angle...It came on again last night and with there only being so many episodes left, why bring this up?

Meadow looks good...I'm glad she's not with Fin anymore...Now I can take her out...

I thought it was a very good episode. For once, I actually enjoyed the Uncle Junior sub-plot.

Question, who was the dude who got shot in the eye? I know I should know this, but while I watch every episode, I tend to have ADD during this show.

I thought it was a great episode. I see these last episodes being used to tie up loose ends, such as what is going to happen to Uncle June- he's going to be doped up and complacent for the rest of his days (and the asian guy- I swear he was in the Matrix sequels).

Tony's inner battle about Paulie spoke volumes about his character.

I think the big arcs here are the Feds closing in on the Jersey family and the war in NY.

I got the impression that Pauly doped Tony with something in the rigatoni because he thought Tony might try something

The "terrorist angle" is what will either let Tony emerge unscathed or get taken down by the Feds.

NY won't take down Tony. If anything, Christophah will get whacked by them for Phil's brother.

No way they whack Tony. That would put an end to any sort of sequals or Movie deals.

I suspect somehow Tony ends up being King of the East Cost. Whack's Leatardo in revenge of Christopher.

i'm just glad tony didn't off paulie. besides sil, he's my favorite. tony's ruthless but paulie is loyal, no way he can take him out. i too got the feeling that the rigatoni was spiked, but i guess not.

He didn't kill Phill's brother... he killed Phill's protoge who was his only competition to take over the NY crew (since Phill didn't want to, at the time).

    Tony's cousin killed Phil's brother.
