BenignDMD is on the right track. Bobby will get popped via DNA and spill his guts. There is also a neat storyline developing between Christofuh and Tony. Chris calls Tony up to wish a belated b-day, and he hangs up on him. Something big will happen there.

So, I watched it and eh...I mean, I like how Bobby and Tony fought and how Bobby had to pop his cherry, but other than that, it was more filler, IMHO...

Yes, I know they're building a RICO case and they dropped hints, so it'll be him going to jail or getting killed...I hope its the latter, going down in a blaze of glory...

I found another show I like: The Agency on VH1. Not a manly show, but the models (female, thank you) are hot. Ok, the dude models are hot, too, but I don't notice in that way...but I like the show as I'm a reality tv addict.

Ditto on the DVR not doing it's damn job last nite, glad to see it wasn't just me.

I thought the episode was pretty bad, eh, thought it was pretty much inline with the last three seasons which have all been overblown melodrama.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Tony drown in his pool this year. Something about that pool, the story he brought up about the kid drowning and the constant screen shots of the lake...

Of course I'm never right about these things, but that's why I love the show. It constantly keeps me thinking with all the subtle hints throughout the story lines.

Yeah, shouldn't be too tough for the cops since that dude probably got a big hand of chest hair, Bobby is a friggin idiot for not popping him in the head from out of arm's distance.

Exactly. If this is what ends up bringing Tony down, I'll be mighty disappointed.

I wish someone would pop Janice.

    Man have they ever showed
    Carmella giving Tony head
    before

I thought they always kept her character kind of classy.

I think it's pretty firmly established that both Carm and Tony will give each other "Birthday Surprises", at least once a year (and maybe on other special occasions too).

Good episode. It's been too long and it's sad that it's the last season.

The fight is bigger than some people give it credit for. Tony IS a vindictive guy. Stupid Bobby- here Tony was hinting at making him #2, and he goes and sucker punches him for teasing his sister.

I honestly think that Tony will get out of getting killed and/or RICO charges. He just may end up dying in his pool, though.

    Also:
How is giving oral sex to your spouse not classy? I take care of business in a tux every Saturday night.

Bobby could care less if Janice was Tony's sister... Janice is Bobby's WIFE now. Tony would never make those jokes around his other sister and her husband because his other brother-in-law doesn't work for him.

Tony has ALWAYS used his work relationship with Bobby to give him **** whenever he wants. Bobby had to suck it up. Sure, Tony helped them out with a new house, etc... big freakin deal. He also could have made Bobby a captain awhile ago (instead of always promoting the ungreatful druggy christupha), and he would have never had to worry about his finances.

Overall, I thought it was a really good episode... I think the only people dissapointed are the ones who think season premeirs need to be something spectacular (kinda like how a loss is always magnified on opening day in baseball).

Also, you have to realize that this isn't really a season... more like an epilogue. Every episode is going to have to tell a significant story... this one was the conclusion about Tony - Bobby/Janice.

I actually got chills at the baptism at the end... with the music playing, and with what Phil just said the scene before... I feared something was about to happen right then and there.

The music is still freaking me out.

Damn. That was the best Sopranos episode in a long time. Definitely better than anything from last season. You really get the feeling that it's just about over. With John kicking off with a whimper and Phil being liable for anything, the sense of dread is really there.

The path is clear, the mob is falling apart, and I'm sure that Tony will end the series in jail or dead.

The end of last night's episode sealed it for me. Christofuh and Tony, on the altar, at Christofuh's kid's baptism, after Chris' movie portrayed Tony in a bad light, and JT the writer going to the Bing to "explain" how he took it from an old movie.

I've got a funny feeling Christofuh is going to try to whack Tony or vice versa.

I agree, this was the best ep in a very long time...I dig the set-up as I think its going to get bloody, just like the old days...That movie the Cleaver was funny...They're suppose to have a "Making of" tonight...

The slow-mo where the blood gets splattered on Silvio was pretty cool, kinda Matrix like...Leotardo, like the tights, is going to get even...
