I'm thinking because she's giving her info on Tony B hoping it wiill be enough to get them to leave her alone so she can marry Christopher.

What was the name of the undercover FBI agent who pretended to be Adrianna's friend? Aide told Tony S that she died, abut I have a feeling Tony will bump into her and Aide will go down.

I think he did it, and probably in post production, because Carmela's expression was more telling than several pages of dialog; Edie Falco just really nailed it. After being caught using her sexuality to influence the guidance counselor on Anthony Jr.'s behalf she was hurt and embarrassed. Afterall he's the only man she has had sex with other than Tony. She had fooled herself into thinking it was a romantic affair but couldn't help herself in trying to exploit her advantage, like Tony would have done. And as much as she tries to sepearate herself from Tony she knew she could put the fear of god in the counselor as payback by invoking Tony's name and power.

She expressed guilt and evil pleasure at the same time. Her nuance could have easlily been missed if it hadn't been extended.

it was slo probably the worst piece of editing ever on the show.

Most people who are into the show beyond the whackings are intelligent enough to get it without it being forced down our throats.

There was another moment in the last episode where Chase used the freeze/slow motion frame. It was during the scene with Tony and Janice. Janice had just explained about the anger management classes and how she thought they were helping and the camera cut to Tony. Tony just sat there and stared at her and the shot sort of froze for a brief second. It was very subtle, but it was there. It seemed like, as Gene said, that Chase was giving us a glance into the soul of Tony.

I was thinking the same thing...I could have done without the gay scene...

Anyway, Fin is money...Although, that young chick that works at the construction site was hot...

Also, Adriana has a freakin' smokin' body...She looked awesome last night...

OK I watched the episode, read the rehash on Slate and still was wondering, what the heck were the writers thinking? I kept waiting for that dang dream sequence to end.

I think the director/writers have been watching too many David Lynch movies or something. Next week looks real good though.

They wasted like 25 minutes with that. I guess the point was to show his guilt towards doing the right thing (whacking TB). But that could've been done with a 2-3 minute sequence.

What they should've done was shorten it to about 2-3 minutes, and allow fans to download the full scene.

There's only two episodes left! Thanks a lot for stealing away half the episode with this. On top of that, it was only a 50 min segment! Sheesh.

    Btw,

I think it would be poetic justice if Chrissy was the one to whack Tony B.

Well, maybe not poetic justic, but would be fitting nonetheless.

Maybe Christopher and Tony B will shoot each other. Or Paulie saves Christopher. Or Vito saves Christopher and asks for a *favor*. That episode was just so wrong with Vito and the rent a copy.

Last night's episode was kind of long but I thought it did say a lot of things about Tony that I didn't understand. He's really depressed by the life he's chosen, and he tries to justify it by the money he has but he knows he could have made more of himself. Tony is a natural born leader, one of the reasons I feel that if he is whacked that is the end of the show. Could you imagine any of those other characters being the boss. Anyone ever seen the movie "A Bronx Tale". At the funeral in the end, the character Cee is talking and he talks about how his mentor (sorry can't remember the character's name) told him the worst thing in life is wasted talent, and Cee felt that way about his mentor, he wasted his talent in the Mob. Same thing going on with Tony.

Also, he knows he slipped up by not taking care of the Tony B problem when he first went outside of the family to do a job for the other family. VERY BIG NO NO. He didn't "take care of that thing", and it is going to start war. It already has. And a war just very might be his down fall.

Anyway, all that being said, boring episode. As far as Adriana is concerned, isn't she going to be on Joey's, from Friends, new show. So I think something is definitely going to happen with her.

It's possible Adriana gets offed but Drea has been active in other projects since the start of the Sopranos. She could just disappear for several episodes and come back, like everyone else except Tony and Carmela. This is the one aspect of the show that keeps me going, wondering what the fate of the different characters is going to be.

Calogero's mentor was Sonny. However, it was his father, Lorenzo, who said, "The saddest thing in life is wasted talent."

    Great movie.

I saw this last night and this was the worst episode...The Dream was way too long and why didn't they show TonyB killing those guys...

With only two episodes left for this season, I hope they tie everything up...

I loved the dream sequence, though it was long and odd.

It gave us a glimpse into the psyche of Tony Soprano and just how f'ed in the head he really, truly is.

One thing to keep in mind is that she is starring in the new 'Joey' comedy on NBC. I suspect they can shoot (no pun intended) around her schedule, though.

They will tie everything together, as they always do, in the last episode. All I know is that Tony B is a dead man. The fun will be seeing who gets to whack him.

I think you're right, because judging by the last two episodes, it doesn't look like Tony S. will be able to bring himself to do it.
