Michael Imperioli only wrote 2 or 3 episodes, and likely will not be writing anymore. It is well regarded that the episodes he wrote were awful.
you can say that again. that christopher columbus day episode, titled "Christopher" was horrible. and to think i was expecting something big to happen to chrissy for that entire week! what a letdown.
Since the dude who plays Paulie and the dude who plays AJ were in the news very recently (along with the actress who plays Adriana) about wanting raises for next season, I call bull**** to this rumor.
You could be right...I'll acually be happy if the guy who fed me this info is wrong (although he really does work on the set and saw the scene of AJ). I like to be surprised. I think Phi83 may be correct.
I heard recently that 4 different season finales were taped and only a handful of people (Chase and top execs?) know which one will air tomorrow. Not even the actors know for sure. I don't know how truthful it is, but it would make sense to keep everyone guessing.
doh! i meant sunday of course. i just got back from running in 37 degree weather and my mind is frozen over. my bad.
I didn't think so, but you never know. Tomorrow night's full anyway with Rockets and Mavericks/Lakers games!
according to the Sopranos usenet group, HBO.com has screwed up and posted three articles containing MAJOR SPOILERS about the season finale. HBO.com has a section where they pretend to be the real life media following the Sopranos mafia family. Here are the links: http://www.hbo.com/sopranos/wernick/sightings/scoop/scoop_jrtrial_52.shtml http://www.hbo.com/sopranos/wernick/sightings/lost/ff_25_52.shtml http://www.hbo.com/sopranos/wernick/sightings/scoop/scoop_dealersslain_52.shtml http://www.hbo.com/sopranos/wernick/sightings/lost/ff_25_52.shtml http://www.hbo.com/sopranos/wernick/sightings/chats/index.shtml I HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO READ THEM, SO PLEASE DON'T POST WHAT THEY SAY! of course, HBO could be trying to screw with our minds, but for some reason, I doubt it.
You call it or you are full of it? Couldn't these actors still be cast in flashbacks so they would still have work?
So much for the credible source. Of course, 3 people DID die. The old woman last week and the two black guys this week.
Are you reading my mind? How are you freaking responding so fast??? side note: pretty dissapointed in this season, especially the season finale. I kept waiting for something to happen. Not the way I would have hoped at all.
yes the season was an overall disappointment. only 2 good episodes, the ralphie whacking and tonight's (though I'm still pissed that it was the season finale. solid B+ as a generic, middle of the season episode, but as a finale it blew!
I actually thought the "Intervention" episode was pretty good. Tonight's episode would have been decent if it was a midseason episode. It was funny how they handled the owner of the beach house, I wish that they would have used some lead though instead of Dean Martin.
i forgot about the intervention. best intervention scene on TV since "Party of Five" Watching Chrissy call his mom a "whoaaaa-re" and get the crap beaten out of him right afterwards had me rolling!
