Nobody wants to get hurt in a game like this. You don't want to hurt nobody as well. This is about offensive skills - passing, shooting, dunk etc....

.. but it's good to hear a lot of people complaining about D. that shows the effect of JVG on us rockets fans. :D

I agree. It seems to me this guy can penetrate everything team D in the league and he also is a good passer.Spurs won the champion last year,Ginobli is a big factor.

i think it was pretty funny to see yao putting actual D on kaman, he looked so pathetic trying to get some points while his teammates were showboating.

i thought it was kinda of cool dunks.....u dont see them very often.....yao shouldve of played the games more.....because if u look at it hes not goin to get alot of minutes in all-star game like all of of us expectin......he should of enjoyed this game by being in there and doing some dunks or shooting 3s tht wont injure him....look at the all-star game......they 6-8 players tht going play tht position.......it is just impossible for yao to get minutes like duncan and kevin be gettin in all-star.....

It's fine. I'd rather have Yao play less minutes than risking any kind of injury.

Ginobli, liked him last year, even more this year.

Give me Ginobli and AK47, and this team is set to be a front running contender.

    Yao
    SF3
    Ginobli
    Ak
    Taylor

a lineup that can take anyone in the league

For me, the game is boring.

What is the significance of this kind of game? They should be integrated into dunk and 3 shooting competitions.

If there is anyway that can make these guys play a serious game, it would be fun.

What a waste! I am glad Yao only played 15 minutes. It's boring like hell. Only Yao and Ginoboli seem to actually bother to play some D. What's the point of all that O when the defenders are just standing around?

Give them a million dollar prize money and you'll see defense.

It is really funny our big guy's "play" in the game. as for me, I don't like such a kind of game, nor did I hate it. Fortunately, Yao just showed up once during his career.

OMG TNT really brought the Lebron (and Melo) ass kissing to new heights. I find it really lame that the networks have to do interviews every chance they get and it's always the same question "what do you think of Lebron (and Melo) performance tonight?"

Lebron this, Lebron that (and Melo) OMG it's getting old. I hope that it wears off next year because I don't know how much more I can handle hearing about LeBron. Sure he's good, but can't the media get off his nuts just a little? There's gotta be more to the NBA nowadays than just flashy dunks. Yao was clearly not being respected out there by the other players but that's ok because Yao is the only one who can carry a team to win a championship, while all those other posers can relish in their highlight reel dunks while going to the lottery (Stoudamire).

Well did Yao have fun going to the lottery last year, did he?

Amare missed almost half of the games this season. Maybe that has something to do with his team doing worse than expected and trading Marbury.

It was a shame that TJ Ford couldn't be in the little dunk contest they had going on in the last 2 minutes.

Yeah, it seems Yao was saving himself for the actual All-Star game.

I think this Lebron/Camelo hype is going to backfire. Man if they're "that" good, then they should've thought of actually winning the game. Instead they were being schooled by the sophomore team. Looking back during the Jordan era, he always looked for a win even in the all-star game. What's happening to these guys? They should be there to compete and not to showcase. They're not even all-stars (er.. except Yao) It turned into a dunking contest at the end because the rookie team simply gave up!!
