My playoff picks (in order of record, not seed):

    1). LA Lakers
    2). Portland
    3). San Antonio (with Duncan)
    4). Phoenix
    5). Utah
    6). Seattle
    7). Minnesota
    8). Dallas
    ____________________
    9). Sacramento
    10). Houston
    11). Vancouver
    12). LA Clippers
    13). Denver
    14). Golden St.

Without Duncan, San Antonio moves to # 10, and everyone moves up one spot.

Dallas a no.2 seed?!?! some people are smokin serious crack here! Dallas will most probably make the playoffs as an 8th seed or at most a 7th. after all, it's Nellie's team we're talking about here!

Dallas made vast improvements in the draft. BUT, where they really lacked was in defense and rebounding. They were one of the top 3 SCORING teams in the league last year. So, they added some good rookies....Etan (good rebounder), Najera (defense, hustle, rebounding), Harvey (a dirty player, but a good one) and Alexander will give them some offense. I think Dallas gets a B+ for their draft and I am so surprised....Nellie making sound decisions????

Anyway, I have to say they will not come close to winning the West or even being a frontrunner. They still need a center and they got rid of Rooks. Bradley is the weak, overpaid link. But I do see them making a run at the playoffs this year. They were close last year.
