in the holiday bowl, didn't major throw 2 int's, then come back with 2 TD's, then throw the 3rd INT toward the end of the half. not sure if the 3rd one allowed UW to score eventually, seems like it did. anyway, the reason major got to stay in to me was that he came back with 2 TD after 2 INT, simms came back with another INT and a fumble after 2 INTs so it's quite a different situation. also, like someone said we were only down 9 at the half. against CU we were down 19 (before the switch) and 26 of the 29 scored by CU were off simms TO's.
Typical Texas fans... you like Simms, you're clueless. Why am I not surprised. Also, JBill, I said numbers weren't the whole story; I didn't say they were totally meaningless. They're also usually a lot more reflective of a running back's performance than a quarterback's.
See, Cat, I like Simms too. But unlike you, I don't have a raging hard-on for the man, so I can objectively look at his shortcomings.
