Sony Trying to Avoid People eBaying PS3s?

    How can you be the resident videogame guru if you don't know the history of PSX starting its life as a Sony-Nintendo joint venture? :eek:

    I knew about the deal between Sony and Nintendo (I've even posted pictures of their early work on the SNES-CD), but I was talking about any partnerships with Samsung and any of the console makers. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any notable rumors, especially in recent times.

    This isn't going to stop anything! If people already had 600 to buy one, what's 150 going to do to stop them? Damn Sony, stop acting all high-and-mighty.

    If anything, this may harm the number of casual folks who actually just wanted a system for themselves.

    The people who are going to go hardcore Ebay reselling already are going to drop a ton of money...so dropping 150 (or whatever) isn't going to be a big deal to them.

    The family/kid who wanted to save up till November and drop their 30-50 bucks now to at least have a spot in line...not so much.
