Sala Amricans ... As for the new Sonics logo - I didn't think the old one needed any fixing. Hadn't they just come out with that one 5-6 years ago, along with their new uniforms? The new one is alright - nice and simplified - but nothing to write home about. Azim da Dream
MM, Are you saying that the "younger generation" doesn't give a rat's a$$ about tradition? Well, that's weird, because most colleges have pretty traditional uniforms, and most colleges are full of the younger generation. The new Rocket logo sucks. The old one was a little plain. There is a HUGE difference between "modifying" something and "overhauling" it. The old logo/unis needed a modification. The new logo/unis need an overhaul. I liked the Sonics most recent logo. This one is a little bland. Is it there main logo, or just one of their secondary ones?
That wasn't what I was saying. Infact I do see the younger generation respecting tradition, I do respect our tradition alot. But, times are changing, style has changed, fashion has changed and I feel the logo's needed changing too (back in 95). When fashion changed, so did the shorts and jersey types right? Sure they should have been adjusted alittle to keep the tradition alive but it was a step toward the future. You can argue both ways. If the logo we have now was our traditional logo would you be wanting to keep it?
I like the logo, even though it looks like an Old Navy or Gap label. I wonder if they're doing the uniforms, too.
I like the logo. It looks like a baseball logo, though. As for 'the younger generation,' where does 25 put me -- am I too old to be included in the younger generation?
That's just ugly. It's officially one of the worst. It looks like an old gas station pump logo. What's the point, that your team is old and needs some young players....
