Some rap group called DF Dub or something like that, in their song "Country Girl," talked about falling in love with a girl from Cleveland, TX. Also, Lil Troy gives Houston a shoutout in Wanna Be a Baller ("You know what's goin down when I'm representin H-town," or something like that) I'm not in to rap that much so sorry if I got the names screwed up.
Also ESG and Slim Thug say sumthin like "represent both sides of Houston Texas" and that song always on the radio, i dunno by whom, goes something like "The franchise from the rockets"(regarding francis ofcourse).

Seriously, thanks for all of your responses guys. I still can't believe all of the replies from the senior members on board. I know there is atleast one other song by CCR that mentions Houston. Anyone?
Slim Thug and ESG featuring T 2... song called "This For My..." aka the "Pac Man Beat song" even has a line that says, "Somebody tell Kelvin Cato, we want our money back... this H-town home of two drop-top arenas..." A more specific Rockets mention...
Thats a excellent song. I often play when DJ'ing. I am not sure if the people like it as much as I do.
Here's a combination made in heaven. Snoop references Texas in "The Shiznit" off of his Doggy Style album. Also, Adam Duritz references sings "I really really love the red head girls, I'm just another boy from Texas" on "Good Time" from the Hard Candy album.
"Bullet" by the Misfits: Texas is an outrage when your husband is dead Texas is an outrage when they pick up his head Texas is the reason that the president's dead That song is groovy. You have to sing it like you're mad though, that's why I put the indicators before each line. Like this: thadeus has a weiner that is very impressive!
Sorry, got here late. Anyone mention: Luchenbach, Texas, by Willie and Waylon and the boys China Grove, by Doobie Brothers I thought happiness was Lubbock, Texas in my Rear View Mirror, by ??? Amarillo by Morning, by ??? And a new band called DuneTx has a song that mentions a number of Houston items, including a line that goes "run the floor like Clyde the Glide"....I can't remember the name of the song.
