One time, I was really depressed for quite a while - I didn't know what the deal was and I couldn't describe what I was feeling. There was just something going on inside of me where I just wasn't getting along with a lot of people that I was encountering. I was listening to some of my Hendrix collection and ran across this one verse in his tune Are You Experienced? it went: "But who in your measly little world, Are you trying to prove that, You're made out of gold, And can't be sold." After I heard that I realized why I was depressed - and after hearing that song over and over for the better part of a week, I just decided that whenever somebody was getting under my skin, I would just think of that song. However, you want to hear a really emotional song? Listen to Little Wing by Stevie Ray Vaughn. Not just in your car or on your home stereo, get some headphones and just close your eyes and listen to that song - there are no lyrics, just music and let me just tell you that I have had tears just spew out of my eyes after hearing that song.
