Dude should resign, if only for the fact that forwarding the e-mail to 7 people from his work account shows that he lacks judgment...to be a judge.

A joke about being a drunk slut is way more important than the current epidemic of nanny-state legislation.

 

Guy should be fired for forwarding any kind of lame joke, I don't care what the content is. Those people are the worst.

 

It depends on your interpretation of the joke. You can view it as the mom sleeping with everyone at the parting including the dog, or if you one who wants to find the racial boogey man at every opportunity, you can think of the mom saying, "you think you have it bad black, you're lucky you're not a dog".

 

Except the joke said "That" party which would indicate the mom wasn't a slut but had one crazy evening where things were so out of control that she slept with a black man and possibly a dog. In addition it seems like she's saying "It may be bad that you're black, but just be thankful you aren't a dog (presumably worse) after that night."

It's not about finding racial boogey men but about reading comprehension

That she would sleep with a dog?.... kind of obvious from the "joke"......
