I don't even know if I want to give Loveless the chance to grown on me. I'm approaching it like I did In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, which I originally hated and could not finish, but fell in love with after coming back to it a few months later. We'll see what July has in store.

Haven't heard any Explosions apart from this one. I really need to get over the fact that Sigur Ros isn't releasing an album till next year.

You can't say I didn't warn you about Young Team!

Don't get any ideas, pal. She's my future wife.

    Nothing.

Haven't listened to a CD in a while. Sports radio or XM radio.

My new best friend on this board.

The Pretty Things are one of my favorite bands ever, and that Tomorrow LP is one of my top 10 records ever.

I'm not so into La Fleur De Lys outside a few singles. The same with The Action. Their more psych-isg stuff was okay, but they were too blue eyed for me when it came to their soul stuff.

I'm huge Small Faces fan....Marriott is my favorite rock vocalist ever.

    In my car right now:

Neil Young - On The Beach
The Flamin' Groovies - Teenage Head
    The Easybeats - Compilation
The Birds - The Collectors Guide to Rare Birds
Sick Man of Europe (became Cheap Trick) - LP
    The Eyes - Blink

hell yes, manny! i've actually been jamming "punk in drublic" a lot lately. weird you bring it up.

operation ivy kicks ass, and "punk in drublic" is one of the greatest punk albums of all time, IMO. all three of those bands were amongst my favorites back in the day. that **** takes me back to 8ht grade.

    gotta face like charles bronson
    straight outta green bay, wisconsin.
not just the singer in a band!

CD player is busted, so I'll list what's on my record player and the few albums that are lined up waiting to be played.

    Playing right now:

Less Than Jake - Pezcore (The picture disk.)

Waiting in line to be played:

Four on the Floor (compilation) - Screeching Weasel, Moral Crux, Enemy You and Teen Idols
    The Judy's - Washarama
Pinhead Gunpowder - Goodbye Ellston Avenue (Billie Joe's better band)
Mr. T Experience - Big Black Bugs Bleed Blue Blood
    Fifteen - Lucky
    Cyndi Lauper - True Colors

    7"

Operation Ivy - Live at Gilman
    Stray Cats - (She's) Sexy+17
The Queers and Pink Lincolns (split) - Live at some prick's house.
Giman St. Block Party double 7" Live with Neurosis, Operation Ivy, Green Day (playing Sweet Home Alabama, Eye of the Tiger and Rock you like a Hurricane), Rancid, Crimpshrine, Stikky and Isocracy.

Edit- Every time one of these threads pop up I am never playing one my favorite bands, Blatz.

Lately I've been enjoying some of the AC/DC reissues:

    "Flick of the Switch"
    "Fly on the Wall"
    "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"

The first two complete my collection of their LPs in CD format, but I think I'm going to have to re-purchase them all now due to my extreme satisfaction with the sound, packaging, etc. of these new re-issues. Best rock-n-roll band of all-time.

Right now, in my car, I have the following (this is for allan, RocketMan Tex, and subtomic:p ):

"Led Zeppelin I" - Led Zeppelin
"Led Zeppelin II" - Led Zeppelin
"Led Zeppelin III" - Led Zeppelin
"Led Zeppelin IV" - Led Zeppelin
"Houses of the Holy" - Led Zeppelin
    "Physical Graffiti" - Led Zeppelin
    "Presence" - Led Zeppelin
"In Through the Out Door" - Led Zeppelin

And now that I am home, I am getting ready to listen to "Coda". No, just kidding on that!

Actually, it will be a little Floyd in "The Final Cut".

    Damien Rice - "O"

Yeah, not a good album to listen to for the half-hour walk home. Some restraint necessary so I didn't fling myself into the road.

matchbox twenty - More Than You Think You Are
matchbox twenty - Yourself or Someone Like You
    AC/DC - Live

and there's one more album out there that just came out by a trio of brothers that is damn good, but I won't mention it due to the ridicule that would ensue. If any of you ever seriously want to drop all of the previous negative thoughts you've had of a band and want to actually give them a shot, I'd recommend this CD...

OK, I took a break from the XM and went out and bought a couple of CDs. Thanks to this BBS and Chappelle's Show, I got the new Modest Mouse and Prince.

    Both 9.99 at Best Buy.

Just finished listening to "Parallel Lines" by Blondie - damn, does that album kick ass!

Also recently ordered their comeback album, "No Exit" which for some strange reason has gone out of print.
