Course there's some things that are new: 1. Clutch's new server, which seems peppy. 2. Cato surviving his early season crucifixion. 3. Toronto pulling out all stops to get us another pick. 4. Yeah ..... I'm going to hire Baretta to hunt down my robber. AND They will never get Ming, but he sure looks good. Gooden is for real like everyone is saying, and is an early favorite. I will start it off by saying that the Rockets will trade away the five and the middle teener for a move up or couple them with one big contract to get an established player. Langhi is gone. Butchie (Collier) is gone. No real surprises to anyone yet. Gotta hit the sack ... long night getting this PC going. Cheers.
Man...sounds like you've been going through as much as myself these past few months but made it through the storm. Good to have you back. Yes Pops but our trade talks have no basis, just dreams. Your talk is a completely different story and I bow to your knowledge. Have you had time to get on the phones with your sources getting some details or is mum the word at this point? Oh and was Rudy actually tanking?
I think Pops meant that no one in their right mind would pass up Ming if they had the #1 pick. The only thing I'm scared of is that Rudy and Co are under a lot of pressure to win next year, which may make them to be short sided. This could cause them to trade a potential superstar (Ming if we somehow lucked out and got #1) for someone that is less talanted but more established.

Pretty much what I expected except ... move up for whom if not Ming? Woods? Also, what established player do you think the Rocks would go after? Glenn Robinson or Tim Thomas perhaps? Odom? Rashard? Marion(huh huh, yeah right)? Theo Ratliff? I assume the big contract moved would either be Mo or Rice correct? If the rocks won the lotto would they draft ming? I sure hope so. One more ... if the Rocks can't trade up, or can't trade for a big name player, would they use both picks and shore up sf(butler perhaps) and backup c (mebbe Gadzuric or Marcus if he falls that far)? Or if unsuccesful in using the T-pick as bait would they just send it to Memphis for the obligation? nice to see ya back oeily
So OP, you don't see the Rockets sending the Toronto pick to Memphis to satisfy the Francis obligation? Seems to me that if we don't do that, and Things Go Wrong again next season, then we will end up conveying an excellent pick to the Grizz...
