R u effing serious? do you have any idea of Malone's history against us? i'm not even going to waste my time talking to someone who obviously has zero clue about Rocket history
I about nearly fell off my chair when Worrell said the Blazers were fielding a pretty good NBDL team out on the court at one point. Man, you start winning and even your broadcasters start talking trash...
I thought the Spurs picked up Thomas, I could be wrong. I wouldn't mind giving someone like James Thomas a chance or a guy from the CBA/NBDL. Thomas is a big body that has a knack for getting boards. He can't be that much worst than Spoon or Baker, or I atleast don't think so.
I think it was Gene (radio play by play) who said before the Suns game, "lets count how many times Nash cries tonight"
I was reading that the Spurs picked him up. But then released him. And then it Cavs did the same thing.... http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3920 Here's the latest news....James is playing for Roanoke now. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nba/players/playerpage/523587 (Look at Houston Chronicle snip) Roanoke Reacquires James Thomas http://www.nba.com/nbdl/roanoke/thomas_050224.html GREENVILLE, S.C., Feb. 24 – The Roanoke Dazzle of the NBA’s National Basketball Development League has reacquired forward James Thomas, and the league’s leading rebounder will join the team in time to play at Huntsville on Friday. Thomas was signed earlier this week to a 10-day contract by the Cleveland Cavaliers, but was waived to open a roster spot for Jiri Welsch, whom the Cavaliers obtained in a trade with the Celtics today. Thomas has played in and started 22 games for the Dazzle, averaging 13.1 points and an NBDL-best 12.5 rebounds. He is the only player in the D-League averaging a double-double. With the return of the rookie from Texas (’04), the Roanoke roster is back to the maximum of 10.
Layin' down tha word, Batman! Man, Van was goin' nuts last night, and Bill even laid a dump on the Blazers, well deserved.
