this makes his trade value even higher!! trade him now!! sorry i had to post it before someone else did anyhow...back to reality...steve is great for the rox and i would be pissed if we did trade him because we wouldnt get equal value back in return
On a serious note -- Francis is giving something back. Way to go, Steve! On a lighter note -- I sense a MILF situation here. In which case, way to go Steve!
I LOVE STEVIE FRANCHISE! Read the sig, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT trade him, please Rockets!!! It will work out! He's a great person and player.
As someone who gets to watch the players very closely, trust me, Steve does stuff like that all the time. And he rarely gets any credit for it -- in fact he usually tries to play it down because he doesn't want it to seem like he's just doing it for the publicity. Tim
Is this the first time Tim has replied about a player? Tim please tell anyone who will listen to you, please do not to trade away the Franchise. Thanks, Roc Paint
I like that, Steve isn't looking to be praised by the media or us the fans in general. He just does it from the good will of his heart.
I agree with Daglide That kids mom (Vicki) is prolly uber-hot and Steve was just trying to get some MILF action going
Steve is the heart, soul, and leader of this team. To trade him away would be a HUGE mistake. Yao just does not have the personality or makeup to be the emotional leader. He can lead through his play, but we also need a team captain figure like Steve. I think the best thing for the future of the team is to keep BOTH stars, Yao and Steve.
Whatever people say about steve sometimes, I really hope that this Playoff will come out good and fuel a dynasty team for both Steve and Yao.
Yeah he is always a kind-hearted man. Although I am a YOF, I like Franchise also. My girlfriend knows nothing about basketball, but she began to like Franchise after watching some of Rox games with me. She told me:" The guy is so energetic, so cute. It seems that he is willing to devote all he could to his team.He is a great player." Franchise is improving, change takes time. dont let him be traded. Nobody can replace him. Nobody.
Who would'nt like Stevie Franchise? He is a great player that came from a descent family. That's priceless!
You know, one of the reasons I get so upset at Steve bashers is because people start writing stuff like he's a selfish arrogant athlete, overpaid, blah blah blah, etc. Most of us have never met these guys and the only thing we know about them is from the media. Since the emergence of Yao, we've only heard that the guards are selfish and they don't want to defer to Yao, blah, blah, and that constant message affects the way we think about these guys on and off the court, and it just isn't fair. The same thing happens with Barry Bonds. Now Barry probably is an arrogant ass but the only reason we think that about him is the constant media bashing of his character for over 10 years now. I bet only 1 or 2 members if any of this BBS have actually met Bonds but if a thread was started on him, at least 50% of the posts would be how much people dislike him because of his attitude.
