    Wow were you dreaming?

I had a really crazy experience with the Ouija board, my cousin convinced me to mess with it. My first time and my last time. We messed with it and my cousin said he has had experiences with doors shutting and opening. But my cousin decided to start mocking the "spirits". 30-40 minutes after we finished with it, we were in his kitchen and the lights started to flicker, then bam a plate hit the wall then shot started falling, lamps, pictures. We ran outside and didn't go back in till someone got home.

I'm glad I got to experience that made me believe in spirits.

Also my friends dad died about a year ago and he told me a week after he had died he was sleeping and heard a knock at the his window(his room is upstairs) when he looked out the window he saw his dad waving at him. Creepy stuff man.

Gives me chills, but I love it.

these two quotes do not jibe

    yall fools being played.

the ability to transfer numbers from one carrier to another is a fairly recent development, with how often folks switch phones and carriers, it is entirely unlikely that you still have his number after being out of touch for years.

I'm not normally dismissive of supernatural things, this just dont pass the smell test.

By no means do I think any of this story is real (maybe a lucid dream or something, though), but the OP is only 21. Say his phone is two years old, he would be 19 and two years graduated from high school. That's recent enough to believe that the number might have been transferred over from an old phone to a new one.

Old man Larry thinks everyone is 96 years old like him.

    Carry on.

(FYI, I still have old numbers of friends from HS, 7+ years ago)

You remind me of a girl, that I, once knew. She used to say she was pregnant to get my attention after she had exhausted all other pity seeking measures. Whether she was lying or not who knows; it's just common courtesy not to reveal these things out of wedlock. And it only ended up pushing me away.

Well, see I didnt know how old he is...from the quotes I posted he makes it sound like YEARS...which to me is more than 5. Anecdotal evidence tells me that the fact I have had the same number for a little over ten years is very unusual...Im the only other person I know(other than my wife, our phones are on the same account) that has had the same number more than a couple years

I'm a bit more cynical. I can't see how anyone that isn't extremely naive and/or gullible could possibly believe his post.

Even if ghosts were real, why would this guy come visit him when he obviously didn't even care to keep up any kind of relationship after all those years? GlenRice has got some unrealistic sense of importance to this guy if he thinks he'd come back from the dead to visit...of all people...him. It's silly.

Like I said, the story is spooky...it reminds me of a similar story I read back in high school...but that's about it. If anyone is going to attempt to 'breakdown' this story lemme save you the trouble.....

HE'S JUST MAKING IT UP!!! YOU"VE BEEN PUNKD!

I, and most of the people I know and talk to on a regular basis, have had the same number for years. And when I say 'years,' I mean 5+. my number has been the same since 2003 and I won't be changing it anytime soon for any reason I can possibly think of.

    Just sayin'.

The theory is that ghosts will contact those who are more 'sensitive' to them. Like mediums, for example. I am by no means saying that I believe DeVry/HairGel Rice up there, but I've had experiences myself, so....who knows.
