Someone's idea for a Rockets uniform I found on the net...

I was at Marshall's in Humble today and they had Francis and Griffin road jersies on sale for $10. I went with Griffin.

 

You serious? which location? the one across from Deerbrook mall?

 

Yea, it was next to an Oshman's and a Bed, Bath, and Beyond. For some reason they had alot of Jazz unis as well. I didn't check the price, but I'd imagine they have a hard time giving those away.

 

There's a lot of uniforms lookin like Comets' uni's. No red, blue, and white. ROCKATEERS idea is the best.

 

Thanks for the tip Caddman. I went ahead and left the house after i posted my question. I went on to call them instead to confirm if they did have jerseys at all. They did, so i flew out the house. I got the last 3 Griffin jerseys and 1 Francis for my cousins and I. I was lucky they had the big size 52 for me in Griffin. They also had a crap load of Hawks jerseys (Ratliff, Abdul-Rahim), 1 Mourning (was thinkin bout getting it, kinda like there jerseys, but remember that my ex liked the Heat ), Indiana (Croshere, Miller, Tinsley), Memphis (Williams, Battier), and the whole Utah lineup (Stephenson, Stockton, Marshall, Malone). Kinda surprised a place like Marshalls sold those jerseys for $10. I was suprise they had Griffin as I do not see them at all at the malls. So, lets just say i was lucky. Thanks again Caddman.

if y'all like them i'll tweak it a bit more. yea they look like comets jerseys but i think these are pretty nice. i'll be back w/ different (hopefully) better designs.

well i went back to the comets-esque theme. i think it works. there's no blue in there. just red and gray. this time i added a darker gray to 'differentiate' the 'smoke fumes' and i also made a home jersey. i think this has a more slick appearance than the first one. the gray curvature in the neck area resembles a rockethead upside down. the sides sorta look like the 'fins' on a rocket...just somethin to think about.

No problem, glad they still had some. There was a group of kids drooling over them when I was there. Marshall's and T.J. Maxx are good stores to check out. I once found Ajax jersies at T.J. Maxx selling for $10. I bought one. I'm no big Ajax fan, but I figured a $60 replica on sale for $10 wasn't a bad deal. For those who don't know, Ajax are a very famous soccer club from Amsterdam.
