I mean I know ppl are die hard Harden fans here, but what he did in game 6 last year hasn't been forgotten. Fatigue doesn't make you not take open shots & throw the ball away before you cross half court. Having a bad game is going 6-21 while being aggressive and putting forth max effort. Throwing a game is only taking 2 shots in the 1st quarter, while carelessly turning the ball over & sleepwalking on defense...I hope this doesn't happen again
Oh look another thread started by swayguy or brewergoat now with this new alternate id.poor angry Lin fan
If you posted this after game 6 this thread would be celebrated. I am hoping and praying that CP3 is able to stop Beard’s bullshit If the JH impostor shows up.
Whatever it wa, it wasn't no damn fatigue or exhaustion. He clearly wasn't interested in playing. Hopefully he makes up for it this year
Here's the thing about throwing games on purpose: You don't play like crap the entire game because that looks TOO suspicious and gets the attention focused on you. The last thing a professional athlete who decides to throw a game wants is to be caught doing so and banned from the league forever. Instead, this hypothetical crooked athlete would make slight errors on a few key plays, just enough to tilt the game or point spread in the direction he's being paid to. Tim Donaghy didn't make bad calls every time throughout the entire game because he knew that would put him under the spotlight. All it takes is a few bad calls here and there, maybe 3-4 a game. The only reason we need someone to keep an eye on Harden is to prevent him from doing THIS again:
