I can't find it anywhere on the Internet but KRBE had a Rockets Clutch City song for the 2nd championship run, I think called "Believe it Again" with a sample of Rudy T saying "never underestimate the heart of a champion". Can't even find a mention of it on the Internet, never mind the actual song. Hopefully some of you other old timers can confirm to me that this song actually existed.
Actually I found something pretty close to what I was thinking of. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/E2fJDSxLYng?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
That song is You Got To Know by Capella. It's the intro song from the golden era. Ought to still be the intro song today like Sirius by Allan Parsons Project is to the Bulls.
Yep, the KRBE mix just had slightly different samples and someone says Believe it Again at the end after Rudy's T's speech. I wish we still used it, that song gets me pumped up to watch a Rockets game.
I searched yesterday. And there is not a trace of it on the Internet. But to be historically correct we need to start with just "Believe it" then next round or so "Believe It Again"
everytime that song plays i hear.. ALLLLLLLLLLLRIIIIIIGHHHHHT HHHHHHHOOOUSSSSTOOOOOOONNNNNN!!! atleast i think thats what the old PA announcer used to say....
Should go back to the same formula and use this without lyrics... <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/TCoF1Y0L7bs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
The someone was Mario Elie saying "Believe it again." That was an awesome mix. I remember it well. Great memories!
Is this close enough? <object width="640" height="360"><param name="movie" value="//www.youtube.com/v/B4JCehDOy54?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="//www.youtube.com/v/B4JCehDOy54?hl=en_US&version=3&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
