Apparently he was busy all those years while this guy was living a shattered life out on the streets, addicted to drugs and alcohol. :|
Some would argue that good people doing good things is God working thru them. Cool story nonetheless.
Wow, I JUST heard of this...what a great story, I feel so happy for the guy. I just worry with all the bombardment of fame and now money starting to roll in, hopefully he can keep his stuff together...fame and money seem to ruin so many.
Not quite. Perhaps HE was waiting for the chap to actually turn to HIM and seek HIM before HE decided to act in the guys life and get things turned around.
Great story. Is the voice really that good, as far as it's perfect for radio? What makes a voice perfect for radio?
here comes the nasty stuff... his rap sheet http://www.thesmokinggun.com/documents/celebrity/meet-felon-golden-voice he wasn't allowed on a plane to New York http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nat...locked_from_boarding_plane.html#ixzz1AD1SErIe he straight up admitted drugs and alcohol ruined his life, why drag his record through the mud? the guy deserves a second chance, and more importantly, a job in the radio industry.
Doesn't seem that bad. I mean, the guy admitted he was on drugs etc. If he had assaulted someone that would have been bad. A thieving drug addict is not surprising. He deserves a second chance. He seems genuine.
Well he admitted to drug and alcohol problems so a rap sheet shouldn't be that surprising. The charge The Smoking Gun has listed is just him hanging around a business begging for money and being charged for trespassing, nothing horrible. It seems the business man who was interviewed is a wee bit jealous of the attention Ted is getting as it looks like he made up an incident in there. The airplane boarding was just due to no identification so I am not sure why that is news. After he scores a gig or several he may revert back to his old ways and he may not but at the moment I can't help but be inspired by the story, if not for the fact of a possible redemption then at least the fact the huge outpouring of support he has received. It is amazing.
