Ming is going to be too dominant for the rockets to be the #9 team. Crazy! I sent him an email and asked him to take a look at the team's performance with the injuries and EG thing, in the preseason. The way I look at it all the teams have great guards but the difference is going to be the lane action, offensively and defensively. I like our chances.
I'm calling a troll alert. But if you're not one, then you just lost all credibility with that post. Nobody in their right mind would take nonproven foreign rookies over proven NBA players still with legs left in them (one of which that was an all-star at that).
I too think that many of the NBA talking heads seem to be underestimating Yao and Francis. They don't seem to think Yao has improved much and think Francis is dragging his feet.
naw, trolls come in and start **** and then are never heard from again.. slinslin is just a delusional Suns fan who likes to come on here and hype up his team. He never makes any sense...and as codell said....always says the same stuff... stale
Pick your poison. Shaq-Kobe-Payton-Malone in Los Angeles. Nowitzki-Nash-Finley-Walker-Jamison in Dallas. Garnett-Sprewell-Cassell-Szczerbiak-Olowokandi in Minnesota. Webber-Stojakovic-Bibby-Divac-Miller and Christie in Sacramento. Duncan-Parker-Nesterovic-Ginobili-Turkoglu-Mercer-Horry in San Antonio. How about: Francis - Mobley - Ming - Taylor - Jackson - Cato That's not too freakin bad either!
Dearrock, Double or nothing. Lets go. If I win, I get control over your sig for TWO years. Just to make it clear, you are going to bet that the Rockets will finish in the Top 4 in the West right?? Remember, no excuses.
Daaaaaammmnn. Im a huge homer, and even I wouldnt take that bet. make the playoffs? hell yea.. Top 4 in the West? I sincerely doubt it..
I see you are backing off your original "Top 4" assesment already. Regardless, SA should be top 4. So no, I don't think the Rockets will finish ahead of SA.
I don't either - I learned my lesson and don't have that much faith in JVG and the CBA small fowards (not JJ)
I don't think you could realistically bet on anything right now with the Griffin thing and the trade exception. There is probably a good chance there will be some sort of trade yet.
I think I can work with the prospect of a trade but if there is an extended injury or absense of EG, Ming, MoT, Wink, Mobes, Cato or Jackson, I would want to have protection against that.
It's kind of funny when we owned the suns last year and we'll own them this year too!..and the year after and so on...
I could be wrong here, but dating back to the days of the infamous NBAtalk.com, hasn't it been pretty well known that ClutchCity.com/net is the biggest fan community on the net? For somehow I recall Clutch interviewing Ford, or vice versa back in 1999 or 2000. Anyways, my guess is that Ford just wants to get some reaction out of this otherwise large base of fans. That's the only logical explanation for picking Memphis over Houston.
